Showed up and his jump box was dead. So he couldn't jump my jeep off to get a battery test. Tried multiple times. Finally got a read and it showed the battery was bad with weak charge. He said it wasn't a good enough reading to replace the battery. He needed to check the alternator. He couldn't check that without getting the jeep to run. Which he couldn't with no battery on the van and dead jump box. He said there was nothing more he could do. I asked him to come back with the battery so he could do his test. He tried to charge me. I said i will pay when he comes back and completes the job. He agree'd. Said he understood and GAVE ME THE OPTION TO NOT PAY. Tracy told him not to leave. And then called the police on me for mot paying. I was forced to pay them. They never came back to resolve the battery issue. I purchased a new battery from another company the next day (even though i was in warranty) and never had another issue out of the jeep. Cruddy people. Absolutely disgusting service. Tracy should be ashamed to act in business like this. They showed up with no ability to fix or test my jeep. And still charged me for showing up. And called the police on me after the driver agree'd to come back the next day with a battery. And then they never showed up.

I had someone back into my car and needed the dents to be repaired. I checked in with a friend at…read moreanother local body repair location who suggested a man at Carolina Collision Center due to the pearl coat on my car. He said it would be a less expensive way to repair the damage, which I appreciated, even it it wasn't coming out of my own pocket. Randy is the gentleman who I was referred to. He came to my place to take a look at the damage. I don't think this is what should be expected, however. I believe he was just in the area and did me a courtesy by coming to me. He was able to repair the damage so well that you couldn't even tell the dents had been there. He uses some technique for the repair that doesn't require repainting. (Hence, the least expensive option) I had also but a ripple in my front fender (my fault) that a friend had used a rubber hammer to fix the best he could. Randy was willing to do some work on that as well for a reasonable price. He wasn't able to get it back to perfection with the previous manipulation of the fender, but had I come to him first, it would've been perfect. However, it looks so much better!!! To top off the skills Randy has, he is also a very kind and respectful man. Always professional and takes his time hearing the customer out. I recommend this business for your body shop needs!

After an accident that wasn't my fault, I took my 2016 ACRA MDX to be repaired at Carolina…read moreCollision Center in Lexington, NC. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. After the initial "repair," the paint job was completely off and the color difference was extremely noticeable. They mentioned that silver is a tricky color to match and agreed to fix it. The second time, the paint looked great! However, when I got my car back, I noticed a crack in the windshield that was NOT there before. I'm 99.9% positive they caused it, but they refuse to admit fault. When I first brought it up, I was reassured that there are cameras everywhere and that they would find out how and when it happened. But the next day, when I spoke to the general manager, she mentioned that cameras wouldn't be able to identify such a small detail in the windshield and that it was most likely a rock chip that spread due to cold, so I'm stuck with a cracked windshield. To make matters worse, my car isn't fully repaired. It drives dangerously because the auto-correct is malfunctioning, pulling me all over the road, which never happened before the accident. The shop claims it's not related to the wreck and suggests it might be due to the windshield needing calibration, yet they won't fix it because they claim it isn't related to the accident. What I'm having a hard time understanding is how they can be unsure about what may be causing something but be certain it wasn't caused by the accident. This makes no sense at all. My car didn't do this before the accident, but it's doing it now. So make it make sense. Additionally, I also have scratches on the A-pillar from them removing and installing the new fender and painted door moldings. These are minor things that I would not complain about had I not had this terrible experience. They did offer to fix the scratches, but at this point, I have lost confidence in their ability to properly repair my vehicle. Overall, my experience with Carolina Collision Center has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend their services to anyone.
