He had a couple good reviews online and my retired general contractor husband liked him. It wasn't bad enough that they didn't start even close to the date they promised and took far longer to finish the job than we were told, the actual work was beyond sub-par. Uneven finishing, no finishing at the edges poor or non-existent expansion joints, numerous areas of pooling, and more. They also cut a sprinkler line under a walkway they replaced and poured the new walkway without repairing it. We had to pay another contractor to dig out all of the dirt under the walkway and repair the line. And just because we hadn't suffered enough, after paying the final balance to this "contractor" (and our contract specified that materials were included in the price), he never paid the concrete supplier. The supplier tried to get the payment from the "contractor" and couldn't get anywhere, so according to Georgia law, they placed a lien on our home for the amount of the concrete invoice. This all started over 3 years ago and we're still dealing with it. We don't want to pay again for something we already paid this dishonest contractor for. Now he's a ghost. Don't let this guy screw you over like he did us! We have evidence for all of this!!

The mailbox construction was started within a week of finalizing the insurance claim so kudos for fast response time. The owner of the company, Mr. Alex Skellon was present at the beginning of construction and was a very pleasant person to deal with. The lead mason for the job, Mr. Fred Bell and his assistant were both knowledgeable and easy to work with. Mr. Bell and his associate completed the project including cleanup of the destroyed brick mailbox in 1.5 days. Cost of construction was $2800. The photos were taken in partial shade with an old digital camera and prior to the front being cleaned, hence it may appear as there is some discoloration but in reality is a nice red tone overall. PCC did a job for me at residence this past October. My main concern with the project was my…read moresprinkler lines and the relocating of some sprinkler heads. I expressed my concerns regarding the sprinkler heads and was told there would be no problem. About 10 days following completion I tested one of the sprinkler zones and only one worked. Water was bubbling up from one of the sprinkler heads, a trickle of water from another, and another that didn't even surface probably due to lack of pressure. I notified the PCC owners and they said they would try to get back to me which they never did. Last week I tested the other sprinkler zone where work was done and the heads didn't activate because the water was leaking all over the place which led me to believe the water lines were severed when the ground was being cleared and the concrete forms were being put in place. I tried calling getting a message the voice mailbox was full. Sent three emails/messages with no reply which leads me to think they don't care about following up. At this point I have little recourse here and will need to find out the line layout and somehow disconnect the 2 affected zones without too much damage to my yard.
