When I signed on as a client of Finish Fit's virtual personal training, I was not sure what to expect. After more than 30 sessions, I have been extraordinarily happy with the virtual training offered by Armen Ghazarians. Each training session has been conducted via FaceTime as a convenient video option for both of us. When we first spoke, he asked me my goals, and I told him I wanted to increase my strength, flexibility, and balance and lose weight. He is extremely supportive and has focused on fitness and wellness, not just on weight loss. With my weight loss goal in mind, he has provided nutrition guidance and support, and I have lost almost 35 pounds and substantially improved my core strength and muscle definition. For each virtual session, Armen has a workout planned that is achievable but challenging. He demonstrates maneuvers and adjusts my performance to maximize benefit and minimize risk of injury. He is attentive to my form and well-being, including any pain or discomfort which he is quick to address with accommodations, and he is very knowledgeable about the  musculoskeletal system and kinesiology. Finish Fit in Glendale is awesome! In one month i lost weight, lost body fat, and gained muscle! The nutritional emails have tasty healthy recipes and great health information. Exercising outside felt great. I loved the early morning cool air and working out under the moon during the evening sessions. I like how our trainer, Armen, took the time to explain and demonstrate each exercise in each station. Anyone that was not able to do a certain movement/exercise, Armen gave us modifications. This program is great! I'm an ectomorph and my goal has always been to gain weight (which a goal not very commonly addressed) and Armen did a great job at informing me about how to do so. He even went out of his way to send me articles he had read about gaining muscle and overall bodyweight the healthy way. He explained that the goal was to gain weight via muscle mass as opposed to all the advice I used to come across telling me to consume junk food. He really takes personal health into consideration. The workouts will definitely get you sweating. I started noticing definition about a week and a half into the program and I can thank his method of personal training for that. The workouts are constantly changing so your working out body parts in various different positions leading to muscle confusion which I learned was important to see results quickly. He explains to you why and how the workouts are effective instead of having you blindly follow them. In addition being in a program like this is really motivating. I found myself excited to attend the sessions and looking forward to them. Definitely helps build discipline, routine and results. Armen has been my personal trainer for the last 2 years and he has changed my life. As a sports doctor myself, I can tell you that he has an excellent training pedigree, and has always impressed me with how he is constantly trying to learn new techniques to get his clients engaged. It comes as no surprise to me that he spent time working in physical therapy clinics as he and I discuss things like I would with a PT. With regards to results, I have lost 25-30 lbs with Armen's help over the last year. While this may not initially seem like a lot, let me just tell you that my previously way-too-high blood pressure has come down into the normal range, my resting heart rate has dropped about 30 bpm, I've lost 3 suit sizes, 4-5 inches on my waist. More importantly, I am running up and down stairs with ease after years of chronic knee pain, moving more efficiently in daily life. My wife, friends, and co-workers all notice not just the physical difference, but the mental difference in my mood, energy, and general outlook. I would say that I have built up some bad health habits over the last 15 years (I know, doctors are the worst patient's). I couldn't ask for a better program! I have been working with Armen at bootcamp for a month now and I immediately signed up for a year. My results in just one month are astounding. Finish fit bootcamp is such a fun way to get a full body workout. We get to do a fun and effective workout in vertigo park. It's so nice to be outside in the fish air instead of in some small sweaty gym. The workouts make me feel like a warrior. We use things like hammers and hula hoops so its fun and empowering! This is the first time I've ever felt like a fitness studio took a truly integrated approach to my fitness goals. Getting to work out outdoors is wonderful. It's dynamic, as every single workout uses different equipment and exercises, but it's also just nice not to have to be in a stuffy gym. Getting to watch the sunrise while working out is rewarding in and of itself. What I really enjoyed, though, was that fitness was paired with a reasonable emphasis on nutrition and tracking nutrition goals to stay in line with exercise goals. At the end of each week, when measurements, etc., are taken there's a real feeling of accountability both for the choice to attend each fitness session as well as to eat in a way that's in line with your goals. I'm unfortunately moving to a neighborhood that's not as close to Finish Fit, and I'm already bummed that I won't be as likely to achieve my fitness goals without them. read more

I really enjoyed my time with Finish Fit bootcamp. I purchased a groupon deal and tried it for two weeks. In the two weeks I was able to lose 8 pounds. The workouts were fun but challenging. They set up different stations with different equipment so you really workout different parts of your body. The instructors Armen and Mallory were very helpful and motivating. I liked that they also linked you up with apps you can use on your phone to track your meals. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. My husband and I started bootcamp in January. We LOVE working with Armen, Daniel and Malory. I didn't know how many of the exercises I would be able to do because of my size, but they showed me modified movements so I could still work out. we plan on continuing with them for as long as we can. Update: We were unable to continue with Finish Fit due to a job relocation. Over the 20 weeks we worked out Steven lost over 30lbs more than 7% body fat and 6 inches off his waist. I was able to drop 9lbs 2% of my body fat and 2.5inches off my waist. Not only did i drop the weight but i gained some of my confidence back. All the trainers want you to succeed and support you 100%. Ive never felt more comfortable working out than i did with them. I just finished my first 4-week Bootcamp with Armen and Mark and I'm really happy with the quality of training that I received from them. He took the time to understand every aspect of my health and built a training program tailored to my specific needs. He did all of this in a way that enabled me to build strength and balance while losing weight and in a manner that protected the injured areas. He does a great job sitting down with you and going over what your goals are and how to accomplish them. He is very knowledgeable about many different training techniques, certifications, diet plans. Finish Fit bootcamp is an excellent way to get fit. The instructors Armen and Mallory are very attentive and hands on. They spend time to go over the exercises and really help you with your fitness goals. The groups are small and each session feels like a personal training session. I also enjoyed that the sessions are outdoors in the park and it was a great way to start/end the day. I used a Groupon deal, which was a great value. For the 4 weeks at bootcamp I was able to lose 4 pounds and 4% of body fat. I am very satisfied with the results and will repeat when I have the chance. Overall, a wonderful experience. I trained with Armin for over a year. I hadn't worked with a trainer before, so I had no idea what to expect. My only other experience was with an Amazon woman at a high end gym, who worked me out so hard the first session, I couldn't walk the next day. I had been athletic in my past, but injuries and age have slowed me down. I was having trouble getting to the gym, much less working out. He saw me limping around the gym one day, and offered to stretch me out. After talking to him and experiencing the pain relief, I decided to give training another try. Armin, or the Arminator, as I like to affectionately refer to him, was easy to work with. He created a personal workout plan which included diet and lifestyle changes, and gently kept me to task on all three. He always had a creative way to work around my injury of the week, and refused to allow me to do something that might injure me further, despite my macho protests to the contrary. The year I worked with Armin put me on track to get back to working out. He taught me the essentials for living a healthy lifestyle, and he made it easy to digest. He made it fun. I have tried every gym that you can imagine to try and get myself to exercise more but not a single one has even come close to Finish Fit. Armen is seriously the best trainer you could ask for! As an RN it's important for me to practice what I preach......."healthy diet and exercise." The problem was that it had been so long since I had exercised that I didn't even know where to start. I felt too intimidated to join the local gym. Many times I tried to motivate myself to do some form of exercise but without accountability I continually failed. I NEEDED ARMEN!!! He knows more about the human body than many of the physicians I work with. Prior to my first session, Armen performed a thorough analysis of my strengths, weaknesses, and endurance.
