Finally found a decent spot for pedis and manicures here in Florence. They take walk in's but we always call ahead and make an appointment. They don't pressure you into up-sales and are very friendly but not overly talkative. We've always been happy with the results we get. read more

Absolutely awful. When I showed how awful it was and said how much I hated it and didn't get what I asked for, they were very rude. I asked if I could pay $60 instead of $100 and they said no and that they would contact the police if I didn't pay. I had been growing my nails out for weeks before my weddings (I had a problem biting my nails), and without asking me they started chopping off my nails. They even made them uneven. I've been coming to Finger Promise for over a year now and LOVE this place. Best manicures and pedicures in the area by far! The time and care they take with your nails really shows. They are a small shop so I'd suggest making an appointment - They can usually see you the same day or next day though. I came into the Salon to inquire about a pedicure. I was greeted without a smile by a lady doing nails from the back with "why are you here." When I said I wanted a pedicure she said we are busy. Walked in and was told it would be a slight wait only to have gels wrapped in the soaking acetone for over 45 minutes with little attention paid and starting to people who came in after us and no apologies for the delay and regularly going out of order of customers. After nearly an hour and a half left just having the polish taken off rather than re-done because the service was so slow and needless to say the customer service wasn't that good either. Highly disappointed because I've heard very good things but when customer service is this poor and miss management of scheduling is the severe only go if you're prepared to wait more than two hours with your nails soaking in drying acetone. I can't speak to the quality of the actual manicure services because they take so long that I was unable to do one. read more

I never write reviews. I went to finger promise on November 21st, I got a red dip nail powder. The first thing that happened was the price was $5 higher than online. That was fine I didn't have a problem with that. I have attached pictures on my nails an hour after they were done. I had red dip nail powder covering my nails even after washing them several times, and 3 of them the non UV top coat had come off. I went back the next morning, they buffed my nails then put a UV top coat on them. They looked very good after being finished. It has been five days and my nails look horrible. I have chipped spots everywhere and the top coat is peeling off like paper. I have been getting dip powder for at least 3 years now and have never had this happen or have them last only 5 days. I will not go back, do not think it was worth the $35 (including $5 tip) total I spent. My friend however, who's nails were done by the owner still look very nice. Incase you get someone other than the owner, I would be prepared to not be satisfied and to get your moneys worth. read more
