Most things were priced very reasonably and aisles were extremely well stocked and organized. They had everything we had on our list and also when we went there was a wine tasting which they have on Saturdays from 1pm - 5pm. They had a neat little system at the register to make lines go quickly. Each register had two people and while one rang all the items the other packaged/ bagged it all up. Folks were friendly and made small talk as we checked out. Good service. Well stocked. Good prices.

Three of the caps weren't sealed properly and there was only an inch or two of beer left in the three bottles causing my car to stink. I have been a customer of J&D for several years . The next day I took what was left of the 6 pack back to the distributor and kindly asked for a replacement . As I was explaining to the girl at the register about the beer causing my new car to smell bad , an arrogant young man interrupted and told me bluntly that there are no returns on beer and that I would have to contact Yuengling for a replacement . I know that it would be no problem for him to ask the Yuengling salesman for credit , but the arrogant man apparently doesn't care about pleasing his customers . I told him that I no longer would purchase my beer from him and left for the last time . I would have given no stars , but I couldn't post it without at least one star!I

I first came here a few years ago and really liked the canned cocktails and peach pie moonshine. Everywhere has apple pie moonshine (this place does, too), but not everywhere has peach pie! It makes a great cocktail with some lemonade and lemon juice to take down the sweetness. My most recent visit was this past weekend. I went into the store with the intention on just grabbing a bottle of moonshine and I ended up trying a pickleback sample (whiskey and pickle moonshine), buying more than I planned and getting to chat with the owner for a while. My mom got a bottle of their blueberry infused vodka and got to try a spiked blueberry lemonade, and I'm looking forward to making some of those at home! We'll definitely stop at Ridge Runner again during our next trip to the Farmington/Ohiopyle area, and maybe next time we'll be lucky enough to have some food outside and some more drinks! All that you could do before was sample some of the spirits and or buy a bottle to go. Now they have an entire section built next to the distillery. Nice seats inside. Garage doors that allows the place to be opened when the weather is nice outside. A nice place to sit inside and a great looking bar with probably the coolest display for heat. They have a food truck that arrived? They have cocktails in place and all of the different samples available. I had the old fashioned with the honey infused bourbon based whiskey. It was incredible with a dried up orange. We sample the bourbon based whiskey, honey, and a few more including a clear white rum that tasted like something I've had from Colorado back in October.
