The best Music School in Texas. I gave the school a 5 start rating, if I could rate it higher than that I definitely would1

Nothing is ever cleaned properly. There was mold throughout the building. Areas of the building are completely hoarded with broken equipment. Our barber kits were over a month late being given to us. I suspect the owner was having a financial problem and was unable to purchase them until our VA payments came through. His administrator was incapable of registering me properly for my VA program and I had to make several trips to the VA office in Austin to resolve this. Our program went a month longer than it was supposed to because they failed to count our hours properly. The owner is a mean spirited man who does nothing in the way of teaching. He spends his time demeaning people while preaching an odd mixture of his own interpretation of the Bible, government conspiracy theories, and blatant anti-semitism. While attending he made several demeaning comments directed at my status as a disabled veteran. Like a typical bully he is most likely to demean you when he has an audience. His barber station is also filthy. The only saving grace of this business is the assistant instructor, Mr. Smith, who actually cares, but is unfortunately hamstrung by the owner.

I would recommend this place for a professional and design cut. Some services are available for women also. Looking for a reasonable price with professional service when n this area, look this school up!

I truly appreciated their professionalism and effort during my time in the program. Unfortunately, the administrative side of the school has been very disappointing. I officially dropped from the program in April, but the school didn't report my withdrawal to the VA until June a months later. Because of this delay, I was charged for a month I didn't attend, which created unnecessary complications with my VA education benefits. The admissions representative has been extremely hard to reach. Every time I visit the school to resolve the issue, I'm told she's unavailable and will call me but she never follows up. I also feel the admissions process lacks transparency and seems geared toward misleading students, especially veterans using VA benefits. While I appreciate the great instructors, I strongly urge future students especially veterans to keep thorough records and be cautious when dealing with admissions.

I told him that my name is misspelled and I would like it corrected. He not only didn't correct his mistake, he acted like it was no big deal. He said that my account would have to be deleted and that I would have to have a new account. It's honestly rare these days to come across someone so knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure customers walk away confident and satisfied. Lane went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information we needed to make the right decision, taking the time to explain our options thoroughly without any pressure or rush. We've shopped here before, and without naming names, let's just say the experience hasn't always been this smooth or helpful. Had we encountered Lane the first time around, we would've been spared from making an uninformed decision that ended up costing us in the long run. His professionalism, attention to detail, and clear passion for what he does completely shifted our perception of the store. If every employee brought the same level of care and service that Lane did, we'd never think twice about where to go. Truly a standout experience--thank you, Lane!
