I came here during my winter trip up to Spokane. My BF's mom took me here because the owner was featured in "O" magazine and you know if Oprah likes something... The sales clerks were really helpful but made me a bit nervous to look around. I'm not going to pocket a $40 bobby pin...I'm going to buy it, 2 to be exactly. One for me and one for BF's mom. They weren't quite $40, more like $20 but they are very high quality. Apparently she hands makes all of them and decorates the pins from different antique pieces so what you get are unique, high quality hair pins. There were SO many different colors and kinds. Over all a very cute store. It's boutique so don't be surprised with the costs. read more

Want to be a princess? Step inside this magical wonderland of sparkles, glitter, jewels and tulle and you will feel like one immediately. It was early on a weekday morning so the shop was fairly quiet when we arrived. As soon as we crossed the threshold I started reaching for the shimmering loveliness hanging all around me. Ooh, try this on! Oh, grab that one! Ooooh, look at this beauty! The staff were so attentive and helpful. I really love that they have some extra personal touches to the whole experience...such as the fact that you don't zip the gowns yourself. This may seem strange but it preserves the integrity of the gown and makes sure that there aren't snags, loose zippers or wear and tear from customers yanking things on and off multiple times. You can appreciate that attention to detail when you glance at the price tag. You really don't want to spend all that money on a pretty gown that someone has managed to mildly damage. Another great perk we discovered while shopping for prom dresses is that the shop tags dresses based on which girl has purchased one for which prom so you don't have to worry about someone showing up at your final senior bash in the same outfit. I thought this was an incredibly personal touch for the business. Kudos to the owner for that one. The selection is a little overwhelming. There is truly something for every shape, size and style preference and even though I would say that most of these gowns run on the expensive side--they do have discounts and sales that make some of the selection within reach. read more

I was in Spokane visiting some friends and I told my host that I'd like to check out some thrift shops. We went right downtown to Finders Keepers and my eyes just about popped out of my head immediately upon entering the store. One side is stuffed full of vintage jewelry from estate sales. Gorgeous stones, diamonds, lacy gold settings, Black Hills Gold, bobby pins and even some more modern items. I ended up buying a head band w/feathers and gems that is actually made by a girl who works at the store itself. Its totally unique and I've gotten a ton of compliments already! All of the young women who work there were extremely helpful and friendly. We happened to come in on a lazy Sunday afternoon and the shop was kind of dead just like the rest of the downtown area, but it seemed that the shop girls must have fun just cleaning up and trying on various rings and such. It was all very relaxed. Ok, so that's only part one of this amazing shop. On the other side are two floors filled to the gills with vintage fashions from all eras. Tiny hand gloves, pill box hats w/netting, heavy wool matching suit and skirts, evening wear from the 1950's. I could go on. It is a vintage seekers dream. None of the items were really pricey for what you're getting. I mean, these are treasures folks! And all in very nice condition. Now maybe I shouldn't have even reviewed this place because I'm sure thrift store hunters from the west side of the state are sure to show up and raid this store! Noooo! read more

This shop has been in Spokane for a very long time so I decided to go in and look for a mother of the bride dress. I was absolutely amazed at the amount of stock that they have and I was hopeful that I would find a dress. Brie assisted me and I described the dress that I wanted; she brought me three different ones. One of those dresses was absolutely perfect and just very sophisticated and stylish for this special event. She had an extensive knowledge of their stock so was very quick to find me what I needed. I also purchased a pair of shoes there and had I not had my accessories I could've also bought those as well. The shop is famous for prom/homecoming/wedding/special events as well. Love it, and miss it since moving out of the area. Sooo much beautiful vintage jewelry! Although much of the jewelry is a bit pricey, there are items at virtually all price levels, if you look for them-- from costume jewelry to genuine stones with silver/gold. I don't have pierced ears, so I'm always on the lookout for clip-ons. They have a nice selection of affordable clip-on earrings, and they will also convert many of the pierced earrings to clip-on, for about $5. Bought some beautiful chandelier-style earrings w/ amethyst and sterling silver on sale for about $40. There's also a nice selection of brooches & necklaces. There's a large selection of vintage clothing and accessories in another room, all of which are still very wearable and very fun if you have an alternative style of dress. Downstairs, there other various antiques. The employees are generally nice, even if a little over-eager to help. This is definitely one of my favorite places to shop in Spokane!!! Don't miss their other store, Finder's Keepers II located on Main Street. This smaller boutique features many new, vintage-styled dresses, purses, shoes, jewelry, and gifts. read more

Spokane is pretty lucky to have a botique with such phenominal selection, service and commitment to community. We have had the need for several formal and cocktail type dresses in the last couple of years - the quality and selection at Finders Keepers II is beyond compare!!!! We've shopped elsewhere, but always end up coming back to the most beautiful selection and the best quality in town. The Tony Bowles dresses are my favorite, but they carry a beautiful selection of Blush Prom (not JUST for prom) and dozens of other designers. The dresses are AMAZING but they are only part of the story. There are always some fun shoes and of course the great headbands and bobby pins made with funky vintage elements... plus tons of new jewelery too!!!! Ohhh but there is more... we bought some warm woolie headbands to keep our ears warm and gloves for chilly fingers. We also found some cute dresses that were perfect for sunday Mass and brunch... We are always surprised at all the great treasures we find at Finders Keepers II. Recently had an unexpected surprise: My father was in the hospital and we were told that he wouldn't make it much longer. I brought my daughter and niece to the store just for a nice distraction from the sadness... the staff was so kind and caring... they treated us like caring neighbors, it was an unexpected kindness. This store also is a great part of our community... I can't list all the fundraisers that I have been to in the last few years that featured models dressed in the latest fun trends from Finders Keepers II... Lilac Royalty Luncheon, Miss Spokane Pageant, If The Shoe Fits, The Best of Spokane.... and so many others. What a wonderful business! Spokane is lucky to have such a treasure read more

Great selection of hats and jewlery. Just saddened by fact we had a "pretty woman" moment when we were looking at items. The two girls who were working that day were very standoffish and kept giving us the look like we didnt belong in the store. Just dont. Resist the urge to purchase anything. I was bleeding and scratched after 1 hour of wear on a $600 dress. There manufacture installed the boning upside down and it cut through the fabric. I gave Finders Keepers there opportunity to make it right but as I had the dress altered on the bottom, no where near the boning they said no and wouldn't speak to me after that despite efforts. read more

Last year for my prom I wanted to find a special one of a kind dress. I happened to stumble upon this little gem! The staff was so friendly and super helpful. They helped me find the best dress! Not only that but she also gave me coupons to hand out to my friends for 25 percent off and for each person who used the coupon I would receive $10 credit! (She also gave 30 percent off mine) Doesn't stop there if you purchase a dress they give you 50 percent off shoes and 25 percent off jewelry! read more

Love this store! I recommend it all the time. I don't live in Spokane, but make a stop every time I'm in town for my jewelry fix. They have a wonderful selection of jewelry and accessories, a little pricey but great quality. I have bought several pendants and beautiful rings here that I wear all the time! Vintage jewelry (fine and costume), new jewelry (including hundreds of earrings), necklaces and bracelets made with old and new materials, and unique pieces made by local artists (some in house). The staff were warm and welcoming. The prices were reasonable. I would pay 2 to 3 times more in San Francisco. If you like vintage and unusual jewelry (and jewelry supplies), Finders Keepers is a treasure. I can't wait to come back! read more

Such a quite boutique with a great selection, plus you can order any of the dresses in a different color! Service was mostly great- they have a rule about a working employee zipping the dresses for you (up and down) that way you don't have to worry about being liable if a zipper is broken. I didn't get there until about 6:20 and they close at 7 on weekdays, but they were so gracious and stayed for me. I found the dress and got shoes too- 50% off with the dress. read more

My friend is recently engaged and we stopped in here on St. Paddies day to take a peak at some dresses. I more recently broke my ankle and needed to sit down and adjust my walking boot, so I asked one of the girls at the counter if there was a restroom where I could sit and not bother anyone. She said no, so I asked if I could sit down up front and fix my boot really quick, she said go ahead. I was up there maybe 2 minutes when my friend came over and said they had asked us to leave because there were girls needing to look in the size 0 section- the section I was in. It wasn't the original woman that told me it was okay but her coworker, who in my opinion was unnecessarily rude. She could have asked us to just move but instead to completely leave the store. Although the dresses seemed nice, none of us will be coming back. read more

Amazing! This was our first visit and the staff was so welcoming and professional. They helped us find my daughter's homecoming dress and even made a quick alteration on site in no time to make it perfect. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this store is. I was excited to discover Finders Keepers, a shop in Spokane which specializes in vintage jewelry and decoration, and was even more jazzed to find that they had a second location specializing in clothes and accessories. I was searching everywhere trying to find a vintage looking "Fascinator" (basically a fancy hair decoration with flowers, feathers, and sometimes jewels or a small veil). I called Finders Keepers II and they said they had "vintage" pieces hand made by the owner. Well first of all, unless the owner made them fifty years ago and then kept them in the basement until now, they are not "vintage." What I discovered they meant upon entering the shop was that they had vintage jewelry elements affixed to the feathers and flowers. The head bands consisting of just feathers were priced around twenty five and the clips with jewelry were between forty and fifty dollars. Now, I felt this was a little steep considering you can find similar vintage costume jewelry broaches for between one and ten dollars at most antique stores. I also thought I might be able to put together a similar piece myself with a little time and effort, but I really didn't want to put in the work. So I inquired of the shop keeper if I could special order one in the colors I needed for my dress. "I'm afraid that wouldn't be possible," she responded with a superior air, "due to the vintage nature of the product." Now I grant that the jewelry was vintage and the maker had to work with what she had (probably broken pieces she couldn't sell in her jewelry section) but many were silver (which goes with anything) and there's no way the feathers and fake flowers were "vintage." I stated this in a confused tone of voice but she just repeated that it was't possible and then pretty much stared us out of the store. There was some pretty cool stuff there but with those prices and the rude service I'll find my keepers elsewhere. read more

I have shopped in this little store for years when I needed just the right piece of jewelry for a special occasion or a hat for a charity event. I have never been disappointed in the selection or quality. The lady that owns the store is always there when I go in and she is so helpful and sweet.
