In Event Source, I can play with the table settings to my heart's content. Whenever I have cause to be in here, I literally look at the options and try to dream up events where I can employ my fantasies. Those are some pretty strong feelings about tablecloths, eh?! Tablecloths, napkins, flatware, china, serving pieces, chairs, tables, the list goes on and on. You'd be really surprised what you can rent for your event! And boy, do I. For our wedding, I liked the linens that came with the venue, but we punched up the tables by adding a different napkin and a table runner. For the more "VIP" tables we changed out the tablecloth and napkin, and added chargers. Doing the whole room would've been a little too spendy, but with Event Source, we could very effectively make our wedding look above-ordinary. I also used Event Source when I hosted Thanksgiving for 22 people at my house. I ordered all the china (I have some nice china, but man, who has 22 place settings?), which was super fun because of course I went with something I wouldn't have BOUGHT in that kind of quantity. Gold filigree for everyone! (Also, bread plates, gold handled flatware, gold rimmed water goblet and wine glass.) Napkins and tablecloths, too. A plate is, like, less than $2 to rent. Totally worth it. The best part -- didn't have to wash dishes! Yep, ES asks that you return them "dirty" (we rinsed at least). Same goes for linens. Just put 'em in the provided laundry bags. Do you know how long it would've taken me to launder and iron all those table linens?! It may have never gotten done. You can rent things in sets of 10 (some other items may have different quantities... Ask!). Think beyond the wedding. ES is a lifesaver (and a dreamscape) for other events as well! Customer service is top notch. Next time you're headed to ES, can I come?

Meg runs the rental side of things, and does an atrocious job. She insults her own employees and is a complete failure of a manager; I feel sorry for anyone who works with her. Our apartment flooded from a broken water heater next door. When meg came by she insulted us to our face, lied to us, and blamed her problems on her own employees. 0/10 on professionalism.

    I had made a reservation for party supplies that was needed in the Columbus area Aug. 4th. The…read morereservation was made on July 30th. I was told that I would get a call for a pick-up time at the Columbus location in a day or two. By Aug. 2nd I still had not received a call from the location. When I called that day to inquire when and what time the delivery was, l was told that the delivery had already been made for the Columbus location and they had forgot about me. The woman that I spoke with was very nice in trying to arrange a new delivery for the next day Friday the 3rd at 10:30 am. After I had gotten off the phone I had received 2 more phone calls asking about my order and was told that the cotton candy machine which should have been on the original order was not and that I needed to pay extra for that. While on that phone call I had asked to change the pick-up time to 8 am the following day (Aug 3rd) to make it easier for my company to come pick up the supplies. On the morning of the 3rd I had received a call from a man who was dropping off my order that no one had shown up to the location yet. By 8:45 I had come to find out that my company had mixed up the pick-up times thinking that they had from 8 until 10:30 to go pick up the supplies. I had called back and apologized for the inconvenience and the mistake on my part, and to let them know that someone was on their way immediately and that it would be about 20-25 mins. The gentleman on the phone was very understanding. About 5 minutes later I had received a call from what I believe was a woman manager. Right off the bat she was very hostile with me about the mistake, I once again apologized and told her that someone was on their way at that time. She responded, "They better be there in 20 minutes or you aren't getting your stuff" and then hung up. I was very taken back by this, being in a position that must deal with customers myself I would never have spoken to someone like that. Thankfully the person who was on their way made it to the delivery spot around 9:40. When the supplies were dropped off that day I had looked to see how everything was sorted and how to set up that day. There were no directions on any of the supplies besides what was put for manufacture's purposes, and some things were mended and broken held together by rope. Once I had YouTube how to work some of the machines I had felt a little better and the party went on without a hitch. I had been told that the drop off for the supplies would be Monday Aug 6th. from 10:30 am-12pm. I had rented a U-Haul to get all the supplies to the location. I had left at 10 to make sure I was on time for the beginning of the of the allotted time and to make sure there was no mistake like the previous Friday. I got to the location and sat in the parking lot for a little over 30 minutes. I received a call a little after 11 telling me that their truck had broken down and they would not make it out today, the drop off would have to be at 9 the next day. I was very upset to the fact that when I was late I had been treated very rudely, even after admitting to my mistake. This is even more of an inconvenience because now I must rent the truck for another day and I had already driven about 35 miles to the location, and with U-Haul's you are being charged .79 cents per miles. Now I will have to take more time off work and pay even more money because of this. I was very upset with the customer service I have received from Fun Services, for 1 day of fun I have endured 3 days of hassle and rudeness. ***UPDATE 8/7/18**** Arrived at the location for drop off at 8:45. There was an individual in the building, he proceeded to say hello and then drive off in a truck & trailer. At 9:15am one of the other customers at the location to drop off supplies had called the Dayton location and had been told the truck was still down and they are in the processes of someone leaving Dayton to get to Columbus for pick up. No one from the company had tried to inform us of the delay. We had told the dispatcher that we will be leaving our supplies outside the building as to not wait another hour and a half for someone to arrive. Upon leaving I tried to call to inform them of who I was and where they could find the supplies I had left, I did not get an answer on the phone until 10:20 am. This business has no concern for their customers!

    Our company rented from this business and had the absolute worst experience possible. We are based…read morein Michigan but were opening a branch in a different state, and found the rentals we were looking for at A-1 Amusement, which was located about 1.5 hours from the event location. We discussed with their event specialist WEEKS prior to the event that we weren't from the area and confirmed if it would be an issue to drop the rentals back off a few minutes late if needed since we would be traveling to return them from 1.5 hours away. The event specialist confirmed it would be "no problem" and to just give them a call the day we were returning them. We called when we left the event location to let them know that GPS was showing we'd arrive at 4:40pm (they close at 5pm). The lady said okay, no problem. We ended up hitting some traffic, and GPS adjusted itself to say 5:05pm. We called back just to keep them in the loop that we'd be 5 minutes late. The lady again said, no problem. Ten minutes later she called back and flipped a switch. Saying that "Doors close at 5pm, so if you're not here by 5pm, you have to wait until tomorrow." We reminded her we were from out of town, and it was just five minutes, and that we were told before we rented from them that they would have some flexibility. She proceeded to say their staff "has lives" and they've had a busy week and she discussed it with the owner and that nobody will be there at 5:05pm. We explained we had children at home, home is 4 hours away, it would be a huge ordeal to not be able to drop off FIVE MINUTES LATE. She actually laughed at that point. We asked if we could leave them in the parking lot in the back, she said they would charge us full price for every rented item. I have no words for the appalling and disgusting display of customer service this company exhibited (the "higher standard of customer service" they advertise is a complete joke). The way we were spoken to, the way they went against their word they originally gave us, and the way they handled the situation is outrageous and beyond unacceptable. Every person should think twice about renting from a company that will laugh at you when you express concerns. All over a mere five minute delay. Unbelievable.
