After about 5 years we decided that the plan wasn't working for us because there was too much administration involved and the amount that we paid to Hicks Pension seemed excessive for the benefit we received. So we tried to quit the plan. Well that was a process that took almost two years. Our rep was Judy Kingma, a woman who I doubt knows how to smile or see the bright side of life. Her rude and abrupt manner was grating to everyone who worked with her, even our CPA and attorney. There were times when she would not return calls or emails, even though the CPA spoke with her and begged her to respond. It was such a dreadful experience that I hope anyone reading this will steer clear of Hicks Pension and Judy Kingma.
