We always check our rooms before taking items in and found no signs of bed bugs. The next morning we found one in the bathroom. Staff was surprised to find one in our room but not surprised at the same time bc they said they spray every 2 weeks for them, they also said another room on our floor said they found one. We packed everything into trash bags and left. They charged us around $60 for the night we stayed and refunded the 2nd night.

Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. As soon as I walked in, I had to kill two water bugs, and there were also two roaches on the wall. I understand this motel is located in a rural area, but that doesn't mean guests shouldn't be able to enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained room. With some updates and better pest control, this property could provide a much better experience.

Upon checkout the following morning, the owner also had a great southern polite attitude as well; welcoming, genuine concern by asking about our stay and thanked us for staying. *I would definitely stay here again with or without my pets.
