First red flag is they don't put prices on the items in the store, they overcharge a large amount on the few items they have -- we understand you have to make a living but it's insane up charge, another red flag is they won't share prices over the phone. They have decent prices on older Japanese cards no one wants -- if that's what you like go for it. I have never seen a person of color on staff. They had a sweet older white gentlemen and we never saw him again after months. It's important to hire people of color because it makes people of color more comfortable in the store. I would not recommend this location to family and friends unless I wanted to be overcharged and want to do several price checks during a visit. Just be more transparent and honest and hire more people that look like New York, and loosen up on the prices. That may even help more foot traffic in the store -- it's feels explosive and predatory. They have a sports section. I don't know anything about that and have no exposure to that world in the store but wouldn't be surprised if it fits the same pattern. read more

I really think this an amazing card store. The service is amazing. The workers are very, very nice and extremely helpful. They even gave me a discount on one of my card packs. Very very nice. This selection was amazing. value in the card packs is great. They have no scrapes no cuts nothing. Also, they are giving out free packs on December 20. Also a very nice deed.
