Case in point: Ordered a butter dish from Amazon that fit Kerrygold butter sticks: * Attempt 1 - shattered * Attempt 2 - shattered * Attempt 3 - arrived in tact and then (within 10 minutes) I accidentally broke it The first time I ordered from Fillmore was probably 5 years ago when I decided wanted to start buying more bulk food and spices and use less plastic. Everything arrived perfectly, nothing was broken and I've been happy with the items I received and still use them today. Most recently, I ordered 160 small jars and lids from here for a party. Again, everything arrived completely in tact. I did a lot of research before placing my order to make sure I was getting the best deal. Not only did Fillmore have the best selection, but they had the best prices by far. My order arrived quickly and safely packed. I have been a faithful customer of Fillmore Container because of their affordable prices and good waxes (I thought!). About a month ago I received a 50lb box of Golden Brands 464 wax... and it appeared to have small black particles in it! They became even more apparent as soon as the wax melted. I have never had this problem with any other wax. I reached out to Fillmore Container to receive a refund or a new batch, and customer service has done absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. It has been over two weeks since I initially reached out to them. The pricing is good, but at what cost? BUYER BEWARE, if this wax arrives to you defective or damaged, you'll have to eat the loss. read more

My husband and I ordered ~150 glass spice jars (4oz) and pour/sift caps for making our own seasoning salt blend for favors at our wedding. We were excited to see Fillmore's prices, which were really reasonable and the lowest that we could find anywhere. I got a good price on some jars for a project and ordering online was easy. But when I picked up, the customer service was lacking. Young woman at the counter made no eye contact, continued working on her computer then finally mumbled, "be with you in a minute" while holding up her finger. Awkward since I was standing two feet away from her. First rule of customer service is to serve the human being standing in front of you first. That turned me off, but I will probably order again if I have another project because the prices and selection were good. read more

A shame this company used to be good and they are very close to me unfortunately have to use a different company. I ordered 50 cases of jars and 800 lids the lids paint came off as well as the lids leaked. (Also had shipping issues got my order two days past the expected delivery date and of course it's no ones problem) I contacted customer support about all the issues shipping issue they wouldn't take any responsibility so whatever. the lid issue was what really set me off first off lids paint shouldn't come off when you Close them. they told me later the lids were label as being not food safe which is crazy to me because they should know 99.9 percent of people using jars and lids are using it for food. And what was filmore resolution to all of this? Send them back to us (I already sent them to the place that ordered pickles from me and had issues and had to fully refund them because of the lids so lost thousands of dollars in the end. The upside to Fillmore Container is they offer difficult to find products which is very helpful. Their orders are always correct which is also helpful. The downside to Fillmore Container is their shipping practices. First of all they only use one carrier, they do not offer the best rates. In addition, they are SLOW. for example even paying for 3 days shipping means a wait of 7 days to receive your order. Just keep in mind, if you need something from them, you must order way in advance of the anticipated need time. I would give them 5 stars if for example 3 day shipping meant 3 days. read more

I ordered one item so I could receive a sample of the glassware. The box it came in was huge and well protected the contents. I then ordered 10 cases of jars, 150 one-piece canning lids and some other items. Made a day trip out of it, packed a cooler with drinks and sandwiches and picked up my order at the warehouse. The staff could not have been nicer! All my items were in perfect condition and the nice lady at customer service even helped me with some last-minute items I had forgotten to order. I have placed a second order already and will definitely be doing business with FILLMORE in the future! P.S. This is a great company, when you call the number under their contact information, you are speaking directly with someone helpful. For our wedding, we are giving away my dad's BBQ sauce as wedding favors. I mistakenly ordered the wrong size of jars and called to see what I could do and if I could cancel my order before it shipped. My order was already packed and loaded on the truck for delivery, but they searched through the truck and pulled my order off for me so I would not be charged and have to return all of the bottles. They bent over backwards for me and I will absolutely order from them again. After having SKS prove themselves to be a dishonest company, I gave Fillmore a try. They had the bottles I was looking for, even had a better selection of lids. My order was placed, paid for, shipped, and received with no problems. From order to arrival in Indiana took only 3 days. 2 days less than I was told when I placed my order.
