We had Lamb and Apricot Tagine and a Beef Moussaka, Both equally delicious. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Thank you guys for the warm hospitality.

For $25 each (for our mains and one starter), you get very flavourful food that tastes fresh and homemade. To be honest, I find myself avoiding this style of food, as I find it's often over-garliced and "flat" (the ingredients don't really compliment each other). I was very impressed - particularly with the hummus, which lacked the three cloves of garlic I have come to expect with this not-fit-for-conversations-with-others-for-hours dip. It tasted light and freshly made. ITEMS TO TRY: - Dolma - they match the cacik (yogurt) dip very well! - Falafel Iskender - this platter is served with rice, hummus, tabouleh and salad. The falafel are some of the best I've ever had. Definitely have them with the chilli and minted yogurt sauce. - Ispank Borek - filo pastry with spinach and feta, rice, yogurt dip and salad. While I thought it was a bit overly spinachy... my dining partner seemed to appreciate this aspect. So if you are a fan of spinach... try this one! The only thing that could be improved here is the interaction the servers have with the customers. While our server was prompt and helpful, he did seem a tad annoyed by our questions (for instance, when we asked about the contents of one of the dips, he just pointed at an explanation elsewhere that we hadn't noticed). Perhaps he was just having an off day though :) Overall - I was very pleased with the food and look forward to trying some of their other meat-based items. (But must stress that they did a great job on their veg items - so definitely vegetarian friendly!)

We arrived here around 2pm and caught the last tea tour and tasting (lucky us!!!). Our tour guide took us around the entrance of the tea estate, stopping by each statue to explain the history of tea. Personally, I had never really thought about what went into producing tea leaves so this was a great history lesson! At one point, we were even able to pick some tea leaves! For the tea ceremony/tasting, we were able to sample 5 different teas in a traditional tea ceremony serving. Our tour guide explained the proper way to pour tea with the perfect temperatures and soak times for each of the teas. We sample green tea, 3 oolong teas and an English breakfast black tea. Each had a story behind it and had their own intense tea flavor. After the tea tasting, we opted for the high tea time. This was the husband's first time doing high tea and he and I both absolutely loved it! For the price, the high tea was highly worth-tea. It came with 3 tiers of delicious small bites (7 savory and 4 desserts), and I enjoyed all except maybe 1 or 2 bites. Some of the bites included a teriyaki tofu cube, chicken empanada, shrimp and green tea cake. Each high tea also comes with a tea of your choice! I chose the Fire and Ice and it was quite refreshing. The service from the waitress, front desk staff and tour guide were all impeccable. Each person made you feel welcomed to ask questions and have a truly enjoyable experience. We actually came a bit late to our tour so missed the 10 minutes of video presentation in the beginning but our tour guide generously arranged for us to watch the video in a private showing after our tea tasting. This was fantastic customer service! Overall, this was a tea-lightful time for tea lovers all over the world! If you come, splurge and do high tea!

Unfortunately, there weren't tours operating when we visited, however, the wonderful hostess in the shop took quite a bit of time with us. She talked about the history, the tea making process, proper ways to brew different types of their teas, and we enjoyed a wonderful sampling. While I'm sure the tour is phenomenal, even this experience was fantastic. There are so many to love, but if we had to pick our favorites, it would be Zealong's Own Grey, Lady Gatsby, Fire & Ice, and Ice Breaker. This was for sure one of the highlights of our trip -- especially my wife, who is a tea enthusiast. We bought enough to fill a roll-aboard bag bag to take home. We order Zealong teas online whenever we can for shipment back to the USA.
