I highly recommend Figure Weight Loss to anyone wanting to make a change and improve their health with a healthy weight. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a friendly up-beat staff ready to help. All providers are great and encouraging. I've been a patient for quite awhile and the medication provided does indeed work. I have referred at the least 10 people to this doctor, all of us making the at least 2 hour drive. At this point in time there is one other 1* review for this place and I felt it was necessary to say that I've never experienced the cold and disinterest from the staff. The lady she mentions that is there sometimes at the checkout counter is definitely super sweet and nice though I do agree with that! I am not making this review to detract from her negative experiences here, if that's true that's awful. I have simply had a much different experience and have had near the same experience for the past 7 months. During a plateau a couple months ago I even had a lady do my vitals and weight check sit and listen and relate for nearly half an hour and mind you they are a very busy place. That would be about my only gripe, the fact that when they are busy (frequently during times I make appts. for) you can tell these women are running their legs off. I've felt several times they could use to possibly adopt a 2nd location as well as more staff which may sound crazy because there are a lot of women running about in scrubs nearly every time I've been here. Twice I've had the Dr. come in to speak with me and once I was literally given a high five. Not a joke... not trying to over hype the place, the younger Dr. actually gave me a high five and I've never left feeling unmotivated, even during the 2 months where I hit a wall on the program. I went in worried they'd be condescending and act as if I hadn't been trying but I've always left ready to take the program seriously and truck on and it is so worth it. I will say this though; there have been times when a slightly retail vibe comes off. It feels different than a typical Dr's office but that is partially because it fundamentally IS different. You come there with a goal and they are there to do what's possible in helping you safely meet your goals. You are responsible for your success or failure in the program, they don't dispense magic. I think this lends a bit to the retail feel. They are providing a service that we are consumers which in a way I think lends to their overall staff attitudes. It's a business and they know they aren't the only way people can lose weight. If you have the $ and have a qualifying BMI I think this place and everything involved is a great tool to have to educate, guide and assist you along the way for weight loss . Obviously everyone has different experiences but I wouldn't hesitate to give them a try again if I went back in time for whatever crazy reason. So far they've helped me lose about 60lbs. read more

Just went for my first visit, your told on the phone to plan to be there two hours for first visit, and they mean it. I was out of there at the 2 hour mark. follow up visits promise to have you in and out. The staff was very nice, and the doctor was very informative and supportive of your weight loss goals. I am excited to report back on my weight loss progress! read more

Low stars for the staff other then the director. Every person that I've encountered here has been rude and uninterested. It's very intimidating to see someone about help with weight loss and then when u do u expect the staff to be happy and encouraging. Not here, very cold and seem like they could care less that u are their for their help. I do not like to be treated like they treat patients. I have a medical background and understand the process but the NPs act as though they are high and mighty. The only reason I go back is because it's convenient. There is one staff member that was extremely nice, she was the lady at the checkout counter, African American girl. Very nice compared to everyone else there. Love this place and how it has changed my life! And I mean that literally. I have 2 school age children that are overweight also and ever since I have changed my eating habits, I have adjusted the eating habits of my entire family. I have struggled with weight loss my whole life. 2 kids/surgery/bad back etc. made it hard for me to exercise. When I was well enough to exercise imagine my surprise when the weight refused to budge. Dieting and exercise was torturous. i was always hungry and feeling deprived. Finally, I found something that works. After carefully reading anything that I could find about Figure Weight Loss, I decided to give it a try. After all, I spent about about $100.00 a month on junk food anyway.Do the math- I bet you do too. Yes, the pills had some side effects, but I called FWL and they helped me through them. One word of advice. Always start with the lowest dosage possible. Yes, the pills make you thirsty....but only for water and that's a good side effect. You will notice how your eating habits change and suddenly you realize that this is something that you can adopt for life. It is not even hard anymore. I will be starting my second month this week and have lost 15 lbs. Their FAQ page is accurate, you really do lose 2-4 lbs. per week. The weight will go up and down daily, but the trend is always down! Try it. You will be amazed. When you tell people what you are doing to lose the weight, they usually frown at the medication aspect of the program. Don't let that deter you from trying this. I just couldn't keep it a secret anymore from my family and friends. I still have about 95 lbs. to lose and I am extremely confident that I can get there. it took 15 years to pack this weight on. I can wait 7 months more to get it off. I feel better already. read more

If you are finally serious about losing weight, I recommend you give this a try. I am so glad that I did. My first visit was the week before Christmas 2013. At 225 lb (5'3") I was miserable with myself. I've lost nearly 60 lbs as of Aug. 1, 2014, and went from a size 18W to a 12! It feels so wonderful to be able to shop for clothes in regular stores and the "ladies" department, not the "women's" section! I no longer huff and puff walking up stairs. Some of my success was due to the diet recommendations and the supportive people at Figure Weight Loss, but the biggest help was the diet pills--I won't lie, that's a big part of it. I had no bad effects from the pills, and they help SO much! I no longer obsess about food, and now that I am used to eating healthier foods and smaller portions, it's gotten easy to do it without the pills (or with lower doses). I often forget to take my pills and it's still fine. I did give up all caffeine except for one cup of coffee in the morning, and I only drink water otherwise, which I think has really helped (you're not supposed to have caffeine with the diet pills). You can do this! If I can change my body at the age of 49, you can too!! read more
