She was definitely the opposite of what is typically rumored of French service. I'm glad I finally walked into the store after passing many times. They also serve hot tea and I was able to take away a hot mint tea. The different color pastries reflect the different family of flavors. . . For example, green for pistachio, red for cherry, brown for coffee/chocolate, yellow for banana, etc. The almond pastes are very sweet and I was having a sugar headache after my fourth pastry, but I just had to try as much as I could!
