No reason 3 employees should be in an aisle just standing and talking. Makes it's hard to shop for shoes, tried waiting for them to move, but they were there for a good 15-20 mins so kinda sucks. Also, all the shoe sizes were mixed in the clearance, youth-womens-men's, everything and all sizes was super crazy. Love the fake mountain that you can climb on to test out the KEEN hiking shoes. While you are there add some SmartWool socks. These are the best! (I also bought another pair which were on sale at Going, Going, Gone in Florida.) The perfect hiking socks. Since there was a suggested packing list, I also added a new waterproof camera case, a crossbody hiking bag, a small flask style 500 ml water bottle and new hiking poles. Check out their sale section. My KEEN water shoes were 50% off and were shipped to me for free. Perfect for water entry hiking days to see sea turtles, Galapagos sea lions and Blue-Footed Boobies. Instead, I was met with an attentive staff member who let me know they had a break in customers and could get me right in. That kind of responsiveness means everything in my line of work. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly, customer-focused employees in a beautiful, well-stocked shop. The team quickly resolved my issue, pointed out some maintenance items I genuinely needed, and even helped me track down cycling shoes in my size. Every interaction felt personal and unhurried. As an added bonus, I learned that several of the staff are veterans and former emergency service members. They took the time to connect with an old Marine and made me feel like a long-term customer from the very first visit.
