Found this gem of a bookshop next to Clockers Cafe. A small and cozy establishment with books…read morearranged by genres. Nice selection of children's books and items. Tall bookcases with a variety of commercially produced literature and items but also books and materials from local authors and artists---- I love that feature! When we signed up for rewards member, received a $10 gift card. First issue was that it has a very short timeframe to use card. When we did us the Gift Card, we had to return the item we used it on and did not get our $10 back in a gift card, in store use, or any other form. So, it was just gone. Just do not understand why they could not give back $10 gift card or in store credit. Manager just said, "that is how it works".......Not customer friendly at all....

For decades, I have only been buying my books at the Friends of the Library bookstores around the country. The money goes to support the library. The community donates their books, most of them brand new and hardbound. This is the BEST Friends Bookstore I have ever seen. I come to Branson several times a year, and I load up on books. I buy bags and bags of them here. It is an enormous room full of bookshelves. They are well organized and categorized for easy perusal. Nowhere on earth can you beat these prices!

Ugh, I just got done running home to get a utility bill to show to renew my library card. I've had…read morea library card here for 5 years. First when it was a private library and I donated money for an annual card and now the second year since it has become a public library. I voted YES to it becoming public because I grew up appreciating having access to a library. Now, seeing how elderly the population is here, I hope more and more benefits will be developed for them through this community library. Short version to my mediocre star rating is based on the inefficiency of the one website that the staff can utilize to confirm residency, its ineffectual. As a resident of 5 years and a tax payer for 5 years, I could not be found. I sympathize with people further out of town, the elderly, new commers, and previous or on-going library patrons having to prove who they are past showing their drivers license. The information my paper file they hold has the exact same information that appears on my drivers license! I'm an election judge in Taney county, and the legal residence in the United States are allowed to vote legally easier than trying to obtain a library card here. I receive surveys to better this library and diligently fill them out. I hope this note goes towards addressing this issue. The library staff deserves better tools to assist guests to this library. Been to many comic books stores and comic cons . Had a double in a series in mint condition and…read morenever been ready nor opened. But manager would not trade when other vendors and other comic con vendors would consider a trade. Friendly staff. I have enclosed a photo of one of the issues I was willing to part with. Keep in mind that I wasn't asking for #1 rare issue.
