3 1/2 weeks ago I drove 125 miles to present a form to the bank which I signed in front of the vice pr esident assistant (Andrew) to complete the requirements to withdraw my share of my dead mother's account. My brother and sister had previously sent their forms in. I had fully expected to walk out of the bank with a check, but was told that if all three were present he could cut the check, but would have to have his superior approve the check, so said he would mail it out as previously stated, so that all three checks would leave at the same time. I told my brother and sister at the time that they would not cut the check until October 1st so they could collect the interest. Well today, October 13th, I recieved a call that my form was rejected due to not being notorized that it was my signature and they would have to send me the forms and I sign in front of a notory to prove that it was my signature. My brother was advised that their was a problem and it would be 2 weeks before we got our checks. My sister had previously sent all of the necessary paperwork in August. There is no excuse for the delay. My brother and I both live in North Fort Myers Area and are dealing with damages caused by Ian. My bother was told that it had been delayed 2 weeks due to they had to evacuate. Seminole did not get the hurricane, we did! If there was a way to contact the regional manager or somebody higher I would.
