She sat with me for nearly 2 hours coordinating with the other out-of-state branch and their regional help center to get everything done. Such personal attention. The 2nd time, I had a similar need, and I was with one of her associates and she came over multiple times to help, and was checking in on her other employees to make sure they had their breaks and see how they were doing. The next day, she worked with me through her lunch break to get the new account set up (once again, working with an out-of-state branch). I've always had great service at this branch, and even without an appointment, never waited long if I needed specialized service.

This bank apparently has chosen to shut down their drive through except for the ATMs. I stood in a…read moreline the other day that was out the door and there were only two tellers open at the windows. There were several other employees running around, but no one made any eye contact with the customers in the line and they kept their heads down as they walked past the line several times. I heard one teller state that the drive through was closed to give a better customer experience. Well having to come inside and wait in a line out the door for 25 minutes was a horrible customer experience. My boyfriend was with me and said that I should look into the Wells Fargo next door where he goes. Very disappointing experience. 2nd experience at this location. $15 fee for a $67 cashier's check. And the girl beside me walked out when they wanted to charge her $9 to cash her $45 check. It's a hassle to change banks but I think it is going to be worth it.

No one here mid Friday afternoon! Don't leave a GD sign on the door saying to just use the app. If an app could take care of my business I'd have saved my time and gas, stayed home and used it. I've been a member of Ascend since 2006 and I've gotten to see all the technological advances…read morewithin the company. They have a great app, I enjoy the drive-up tellers (usually), but as a company, you shouldn't lose the human aspect in all those technological advances. Example...this location has one drive up teller service. At peak times (lunch and end of day because that's usually when I can get off of work to go), the line can get long. And even when you've waited to get to the teller service, you still have to touch the screen and STILL WAIT for someone to be available...For those who have never banked with ascend, their drive up machine is connected to a call center for someone to assist you, instead of just employees working at just that location...So i tried going inside for faster service. There were 4 employees available and they were chatting it up when I came inside. I told them that I needed to do a check deposit, but also felt like I needed assistance from someone since I did a legal first and last name change. They sent me to another machine that was located on the inside and I had to wait...again for a customer service rep to be available to make my deposit. Again, there 4 employees available and they were not helping any other customers. As a matter of fact, they were just hanging out one person's office and having non-work conversations. They could've really expedited the process for me and make things quick and easy, instead, they sent me to a machine and let the people inside the magic box do the work for them. Human aspect...totally gone.
