I've been a member of Ascend since 2006 and I've gotten to see all the technological advances…read morewithin the company. They have a great app, I enjoy the drive-up tellers (usually), but as a company, you shouldn't lose the human aspect in all those technological advances. Example...this location has one drive up teller service. At peak times (lunch and end of day because that's usually when I can get off of work to go), the line can get long. And even when you've waited to get to the teller service, you still have to touch the screen and STILL WAIT for someone to be available...For those who have never banked with ascend, their drive up machine is connected to a call center for someone to assist you, instead of just employees working at just that location...So i tried going inside for faster service. There were 4 employees available and they were chatting it up when I came inside. I told them that I needed to do a check deposit, but also felt like I needed assistance from someone since I did a legal first and last name change. They sent me to another machine that was located on the inside and I had to wait...again for a customer service rep to be available to make my deposit. Again, there 4 employees available and they were not helping any other customers. As a matter of fact, they were just hanging out one person's office and having non-work conversations. They could've really expedited the process for me and make things quick and easy, instead, they sent me to a machine and let the people inside the magic box do the work for them. Human aspect...totally gone.

this branch does not answer their phone nor do they have voicemail. I literally called and didn't…read moreget an answer till the 11th call. Additionally, after being a Regions customer for 30 years, I make one cash deposit in six months more than six months, and this bank sent me a letter accusing me of structuring deposits which is illegal. This is outrageous.

So I go thru drive yesterday before work. So happy to pull up and no one in line. I ring ask Mary…read morefor deposit ticket and fill send back and was depositing a escrow check from swbc for 821 from the sale of my house, I have made my swbc mortgage from this bank account for 5years--- Waited about 8 min no nothing no hold I'm still working no nothing so i rang and ask if there was a problem. Mary very rudley said her computer was having issues and its gonna be a while Im like what you could have told me i would have been came in and its no one but me I go in get a marvin who act like he didnt know workers names and he does deposit and give me 220 less cash I ask for lady name in drive thru and manager since I wasn't available. I wake up next morning and my $821 check was under review they gave me no notice of check on hold nothing and why would it be I have over S20,000 bank and my 3 children and husband has accounts so why am I get the worst customer ever because I am black women with good teeth. My payroll checks are nearly 4,000 by weekly I don't have over drafts dont have a problem account just black . So I call Mary wont transfer to managers VM and left me on hold 20 min this place on Lebanon Rd should be shut down
