I had a desire to possess some $2 bills, so I went into this bank. It's got a beautiful semicircle…read morecounter with numerous unoccupied teller stations, and belted stanchions blocking the way to enter. There was one woman sitting kind of back from the teller window counting money. I caught her eye and she says from across the floor "just have a seat and she'll call you to the desk" (a little office type area where you would go if you wanted to open an account or apply for a loan). I said I just want change, and was told they do all that at the desk. I did not have a seat but approached the desk woman who had risen and asked if they had two dollar bills. She said no, they don't get them anymore, and felt the need to add "I can't remember the last time I saw one." I told her I thought it was odd to wait for someone in an office setting instead of going to a teller just for change. She said they "changed things up" ever since "covid." I laughed aloud and shook my head. They have an outside ATM and they charge $3.50 and only dispense 100s and 20s. FYI: Less than a block west, there is an actual bank with actual helpful tellers and actual $2 bills.

I made my request and one teller went to the vault to get a fresh package of brand spankin' new two dollar notes. I exchanged a 10-spot for five of them. There is a convenient parking lot with spaces close to the entrance. They have a drive-up ATM and next time I need to get cash I am going to give it a try. If all goes well I will update to five stars.
