We don't usually buy expensive, "good" furniture these days, however, we were in need of a new drop…read moreleaf table for our small home and my eye caught QW Furniture. On sale it was $1600, and we had some extra cash so we went for it. To say my expectations were exceeded is an understatement. This is the most beautifully crafted piece of furniture I've ever laid eyes on. We were in awe of the gear structure for the leaf insertion. The finish is just stunning - a soft satin, and it is smoother than anything I've ever felt. My husband assembled it in 20 minutes - he just had to attach the feet to the base and the top to the pedestal. When raised, you can barely see the seam for the leaves. This will be an heirloom piece that will hopefully stay in our family for years. When I had questions, my emails were replied to quickly. The delivery team was great and we even had a personal cell phone to contact them during delivery. It is also very satisfying to support hand-crafted furniture made in the USA. I know this price point is not available to everybody, but if you can - I would highly recommend them.

The stain samples helped somewhat but samples are not the same as seeing the table in person. We took a gamble. The table has great craftsmanship, is solid, and looks wonderful in our dining area. They emailed me a video of how the leaf locking mechanism works. They answered all my questions. They did forget about my order, however. I found out when i called them a few weeks after i placed my order. This was a bit disappointing. The two drivers who delivered the items were friendly and professional. No damages upon arrival. It was pricey but the items were excellent quality.. at this price point , make sure you that you will be keeping items for a long time and even better if there is a discount price. Overall, it was a good experience with this company.

It's a super cute store with lots of varieties, and the plants all looked quite healthy. I do think it's a little overpriced -- granted, I'm not sure what the Rochester plant market is like, but I figured it would be less expensive than Chicago, but everything was a $2-$8 more than the local plant nurseries I frequent in Chicago and the suburbs. But, the store is very cute and has lots of cute plant accessories. I'm kicking myself for not getting the cute leopard plant pot I saw. I love the atmosphere of the place, though. Lots of seating and tables set up for those who visit the cafe, and there's lot to look at if you just want to walk around a bit.
