The service was great and our server was very knowledgeable and continuously checked up on us. The food was a bit disappointing but good value and huge portions.

The menu may be the biggest you've ever seen. Mussels Clam Lobster Crab Cakes Prawns Service was 5/5 Our server was the sweetest woman and helped guide us with the intimidating menu Ambiance was 4/5 I was looking out at the harbor which is tough to beat. Someone also brought their dog in (super well behaved service dog so this is not a knock). No outdoor seating. Food 5/5 I didn't test the seafood but Uncle Bob did! He was originally going to get this cod special covered in lobster sauce but opted for something lighter.. or at least he thought! When I got the Most Interesting Reuben in the world (which was a Cuban Reuben, corned beef plus tender pork and ham), he opted to get a LOBSTER Rueben. The lobster was falling out of this thing - think it was a full ass lobster. 5/5 The most interesting Rueben was quite good. To give it a 4 would be dishonest. Side salad with vinegarette was good too. 5/5 I don't want to like this place but the food was excellent, as was our welcome. Can't give anything other than 5 stars for that. Totally unrelated but we saw a river otter crossing the road in Stonington after our visit. It jumped into the ocean and caught an eel!

It doesn't get any more "New England Seafood" than the Deer Isle / Stonington areas. This was a remarkable experience from start to finish. The staff is mostly very young, friendly, yet well-polished. The room and the views are gorgeous. And we loved every bite. Hours of operation are flighty, but if you can manage to get there before too many of their homemade flavors are devoured then you shall not be disappointed. It just always seems we arrive a little too late and painters tape has been applied to 3/4 of the flavors on the board, so usually it's just the basics: Chocolate and Vanilla. Also, they have a lunch board with a limited number of choices; recently we chose between Roast Pork, Smoked Haddock, or Salmon served with various accoutrements between the slices of fresh bread. Low and behold the Roast Pork sold out ten minutes after opening! The smoked Haddock and Salmon sandwiches worth the wait.

There are benches around the area for you to sit if you are simply passing by. I've been here so many times I've ended up eating everything they have to offer and I have no regrets. The ice-cream is ADDICTIVE. Out of all of them my favorite is the maple walnut flavor and the black raspberry. The chicken sandwich is VERY appetizing and the lobster rolls are just out of this world. I think I come here 5 days out of the week so it's safe to say that I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.
