Prompt greet at the door with immediate seating, great start! We had a large party so they sat us in a room that provided a little privacy from the main dining area. Our server was outstanding, he was not frazzled by the large party giving us ample time to to order. There was a lot of alcohol ordered..he brought beverages and water chips and salsa and promptly returned with the bar orders. He took food orders ( I had the Chili Rojo) and when the food arrived to the tables....not one dish was incorrect! How's that for service? The food was outstanding. This was the first Mexican restaurant I tried after moving to Louisville because it's in a really convenient location in Middletown. It's nestled in the inner corner of a strip mall. They have a large outdoor patio that I love. I've tried the grilled shrimp which comes with a hefty 12 skewered shrimp over rice covered in queso and a couple of their combos. Fiesta Time is one of my favorite places to go when Mexican is on the brain and I feel a lot of people must agree as they are always busy; however, we rarely have a wait but last night (on a Thursday) we had a :20 wait. Everything is always so delicious and service is always good. They have a nice patio if it's a nice day. This location is a large location and can hold big parties... I've reserved space for 30+ people and was accommodated in their back room with great service. Another friend even rented out their patio for a large gathering one time and did more of a catering service rather than ordering from a menu. There's a few dishes I typically choose between... the Juan's special, a naked fajita taco salad, or burrito al carbon. Always tasty. Last night, I decided to order something different, the Pollo Asado. Nothing crazy, just a grilled chicken breast with peppers, onions, served with rice, pico, and tortillas so you basically could make your own fajita tacos. It was a great meal and I couldn't even finish it. A friend tried something new too... the seafood burrito that was recommended by our waiter. She loved it. Although I didn't have it last night and don't have a picture of it, I highly recommend the Guacamole Mario... it's basically a guacamole salad and soooo good! read more

Although we still like this place; the food has changed. For starters they seem to be using canned chicken at times, which if you've ever eaten has this strange twangy aftertaste once it's not piping hot. Since I only eat chicken this affects my review greatly in regard to food. Also, what's up with the lack of spoons? They never seem to have them and I love spooning queso onto my tortillas. We came for a late night dinner and were greeted and seated immediately. We love love love how this location has great outdoor seating. It was a beautiful evening and we felt comfortable eating at A restaurant because it was open air and everyone was distanced. Our waiter was on top of it the entire night! Drinks never went empty and our basket always had chips! Their Queso is so freaking good you guys. I wish I could drink it l. We ordered our dinner and it came out hot, fresh and delicious. During the shutdown we ordered take-out from here several times. They had an efficient system and brought food to your car. Packed carefully and nice and hot. We moved to the area just when Covid hit and now that things are opened up, we are back to visiting the restaurant. They are wearing masks and gloves. No waiting in the restaurant when there is a crowd, you need to wait in your car and they call for your table. You will always get fresh, delicious food served quickly here. I had our work holiday dinner her before a wood making event, right next door. We started around 4:30 on a Wednesday afternoon mid December. This place is hopping even at this time of day. Not sure if it's the happy hour specials or what. I did not call ahead and I could see they had a party in the back room and multiple large parties already seated. I was worried with a group of 12, but the team seated us in a great spot and provided an incredible experience. We enjoyed drinks and food. The food came out so quick and was so delicious. Staff is always friendly! Food is always extremely hot. Drinks and salsa are hit or miss tho. This last time (January 10) near the bar and noticed a bartender opened bottles and poured it into a white round container directly on the floor! That just seems wrong. A girl there was also cutting fruit for drinks at a table next to ours with no gloves. Everyone we saw did the same thing - wipe hands on pants/shirts. Nobody washed hands. Always good food! Service Is sometimes very attentive other times fairly so but somebody usually checks in on you. Always has somebody ready to seat you. Has two main dining rooms with tables and booths, The bar has a big round table that can seat several people and it's got a good bar vibe and stools at the bar. Outside of the bar is the patio which we love to sit on whenever the weather is good. There is a TV out there and fans and son blockers and the parking lots right there. They send out coupons so you can get a discount on your food if you spend $25 or over and it's not Friday or Saturday maybe. We live less than a mile away and it's always a go to for eating or meeting people. Bar drinks are always very good! Extensive menu of the regular Mexican flair. Chicken burrito was drenched in a canned red sauce, again flavorless, and probably very high in sodium. The atmosphere is wonderful !.we have tried a lot of different places and still we go back to fiesta time because the food and service are so superior to the other restaurants. The decor immediately lets you know that you are going to have a fun time! The restaurant was very clean and the employees were smiling and friendly. Our food was hot and delicious. I loved the bar area with its custom bar stools. I would like to come back and sample their margaritas. That will be another day. Fiesta Time is a typical go-to for my coworkers and I, being such a short walking distance from our clinic. I am not much of a fan of the one in Fern Creek, but this one does a great job almost every visit. It's your typical Mexican restaurant, but it's good food, good margs, and that's about all I need to make me happy.
