We stopped by for lunch. My wife ordered the Cheese Enchiladas with rice and I ordered the Shrimp Taco trio with rice. The chips and salsa were okay. The salsa was a bit runny with no real flavor. It lacked a punch. We ordered their Golden Margarita. It was excellent. Top shelf quality! The food overall was very good. The bartender was awesome, he checked in on us a few times. The waitress was less than attentive to us. First off, you could not understand her, her accent was tough to hear clearly. She had trouble understanding English too. She never once came back to check on us after our meal was served. It wasn't busy at all, maybe 5 other people were eating lunch. I've now been three times. Each time I've ordered veggie fajitas and each time is a different experience. The first time it was probably 75% green peppers, the second time was better proportion except like 2 pieces of tomato, and the third time had canned mushrooms plus very little seasoning so it was mostly just grilled veggies. The salsa is good; alcohol prices are good. The LWC discount is nice (we take the difference and leave it all as extra tip for the server). I'll still go back since it's one of only two Mexican options in town, and I can only hope to get a better fajita experience. read more

The exterior at night is a little off putting. It looks kinda sketchy, like it would be a dive bar. But sometimes those are the places you find the best food! Not in this case. When you walk in you are blinded by how bright the place is. It wasn't what I was expecting from the dark exterior. There was a crowd waiting to pay at the register and we didn't know where to go to find a seat. We waited at the end of the crowd u til my husband suggested I cut through them. That is when we saw the place to wait to be seated. There were a few employees cleaning off tables and we waited a few minutes to be seated. I'm used to being seated almost immediately at Mexican restaurants! Once we were seated and drink orders taken, we reviewed the menu. I was disappointed not to see a fajita bowl on the menu. I settled on chicken with grilled onions and peppers with pineapple. They were accommodating to leave off the cheese and rice for me. My son got Chili Colorado and thought it was just Ok. I felt the same way. I drink water with no ice and I could taste the dishwashing soap used to clean the cups. That was gross. I don't want to ingest those toxins. They need to rinse their glasses better. The most disappointing thing was none of our food came out at the same time. Restaurant 101 is to serve the table their meals at the same time. My son got his first, then a minute later me, then another minute later my husband. We also had to ask for drink refills. My son attends college here and this was our first time at this restaurant as we were visiting him. We will not come back. The food, atmosphere, and service didn't meet our standards. read more

The service was horrible. They were not busy, we did get seated promptly but that is where anything positive ended. We (husband, son & myself) ordered appetizers, drinks and meals. Never got the appetizers, my dinner was brought out 20 minutes after my husbands, husband and son were finished eating before I got my order, and no it was nothing special, a burrito that was it. After an hour of driving to get to this establishment, I rolled up to the main shopping hub of Columbia which holds the heart of this town, The "Fiesta Mexico Restaurant". The outside seems unimpressive but after passing through some doors that are unnecessarily dark, you realize that it's not a Mexican themed strip club and actually a very distinguished Mexican restaurant. They started me off with the usual chips and salsa in a very timely manner not wasting any time bringing my drink. This must be how they treat the royal family in England! The plants hanging from the ceiling really add a greenhouse effect as well, so good to know they care about the environment! Someone should remove that gray pig sitting in the middle of the room. read more

We've gone here for years. It was great like 7 years ago. Then their chicken started tasting bad. My Mom (who cooks) says its tastes like they're trying to save money by using old chicken. I don't eat there anymore. Only like two times a year... MAYBE. read more

For openers the chips and salsa will disappoint The chips were not salted and the salsa tastes like it just came out of a can, and no matter how much hot sauce I added it could not be cured. I had the t bone and it had been tenderized and had a good flavor. The rice had peas in it rather than chilies and I could not help but think this was probably done for the local taste buds. Oh Fiesta, you were/are a savior for the LWC students/staff/community. There has been other attempts at Mexican restaurants in this small town, but this is the one that stays. Last time I came here I was able to buy alcohol (it being dry when I went to college here) and I was amazed at how cheap the drinks were. Seriously, you cannot find margaritas this cheap anywhere. And they were good! The food here is solid too, and comes out quick. Generous portions and a friendly staff. They can be busy and have a wait at times, but just bare with them. Food is GREAT. Service is not from one server, I come here every Friday and sometimes another day. I always have good service from all servers except for the guy called "", he obviously has his favorite people and ignores others. He hardly ever comes back out our whole eating experience on his own. I asked another server and he helped us, and later "" came over and apologized for this, I wouldn't think anything except that "" is always inattentive to his duties to his guests, and is always in a foul mood, it seems that all other employees are afraid of him. read more
