The baked potato was great and my son got the green beans that were also delicious. The green beans were the French style type and crisp. Seasoning & temperature were perfect on the Ribeyes. There couldn't be a better cut. The price wasn't any higher than last time and it's worth every penny. I knew when she sat it down and I saw all the juices sitting on top that it would be amazing and it was!!! I wish I'd taken a picture of this honker of a Ribeye. It lives now only in my memories. Go. And go get this ribeye. They have perfected their Ribeye game. In my best Arnold voice "I'll be back". Our service was great. Waitress was super nice. The rolls were a little on the hard side and I didn't care for the strawberry whipped butter but I wasn't there for that anyway. Let me at that steak. We met the nicest gray tabby cat with beautiful eyes on the porch when we were leaving.

It's a beautiful spot with a nice layout and a small gift shop area. The only downside is the price, be prepared to spend 50-125 for 2 adults to eat, not including the tip or dessert. Overall great place.

I went for the classic diner style, counter and stool seating where I could soak in the fullness of the experience as they prepared my food. I watched as they pulled the pre-portioned balls of hamburger from the refrigerator, smack it on the counter, smash it with the spatula, then slap it on the grill. The burger was classic - fresh, good tasting, hot off the grill, greasy goodness dressed to your preference. The chili cheese fries were not exactly as expected since I could see a warmer labeled "cheese sauce". Instead the freshly cooked, small batch of fries were covered in a layer of American cheese slices, then chili, then sprinkled with shredded cheddar. They tasted good, but the burger was definitely the star of the show. The staff were attentive but not super-friendly. No smiles and no chit-chat...these ladies were all business. I definitely recommend this and look forward to returning in the future.

Just information that this is not fast food. It may take 20-25 minutes for your order, but you can taste the difference in the quality. My party of 3 had different selections, I had the cheeseburger and fries, my wife chose chicken strips and fries, my mother chose a chicken sandwich and fries. The fries were all very hot and the cheeseburger I had was an inch thick patty but it was perfectly cooked thru and thru. Very good seasoning and taste. Our 3 baskets included fries and a drink. The fries are breaded and taste great. I will tell you that each basket was $12-$15 each. Again this is more expensive than some places but I think it is worth it. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and it was a great experience. I hope they have good business and will be open for years to come for my frequent visits to Greenville.

The menu also offers a lot of other great options--spaghetti, fettuccine, chicken tenders, salads, and other sandwiches. They also have pizza and (from what I hear, especially from my fellow diners the last time I was here) great buffalo wings. I went semi-light with the chuckwagon salad this past time and it was really good. You can't get a chuckwagon everywhere these days, so it is a nice addition to the menu. For the salad they take what is presumably the same patty they use for the chuckwagon sandwich but slices it into strips and top a full house salad with it, your choice of dressing. Totally hit the spot. Sadly I didn't have room for the hot fudge cake (a favorite dessert) or the ice cream as both looked amazing. Prices are fair, service is friendly.
