It couldn't have been any more of a debacle, and ended with the owner not taking one ounce of blame and gaslighting me. He ended his rebuttal saying he didn't want my business. Thanks, pal, you did me a solid. I rapidly called ACE Handyman Service Grand Strand as their reviews were superior, as well, I just saw Tools on Call, first. They got back to me/us right away and we were put on the schedule as soon as there was an opening to satisfy the potential time it would take for the jobs. They also provided an estimate which I believe was very fair. The appointment was was less than a week later and first thing in the morning. The Handyman, Robert, contacted us on the way over to my sisters, and was early, at that. I was told that he was like Santa in that he went right to the work and banged everything out expertly and promptly. He was extremely respectful, professional, and genuine in personability to my sister - a single person, and never a question of safety or trust whatsoever. Robert finished the jobs in less time than was originally estimated, and ACE Hardware fairly deducted the time difference and original estimate. I would definitely use them again. They are fair, trustworthy, honest, hard-working, experts, and unlike my first experience, exactly what I was looking for being almost a thousand miles away. Thank you so much....especially Robert.
