I was not given a clear explanation as to why this cost was not included in the original treatment plan. At my appointment the following day, I was unable to get clarification from her. That said, Dr. Indrakanti's clinical expertise appears exceptional. He may be one of the best oral surgeons in the area, possibly even the state. Unfortunately, the quality of the surgical care was overshadowed by a very disappointing billing and communication experience with the office staff.

Only showing up late because they told me they were running behind, I'm dealing with a lot this morning because my brother died this week, she did not offer me any condolences. She did not try to see where I was coming from only told me that I needed to reschedule my appointment which I could not do since this is a tooth emergency and obviously can't make time for it this week. I just felt awful, as though I had done something wrong and I am not sure that's the normal experience for new patients. Again, I hope to hear why they found me so disdainful. But it really was so uncomfortable I now feel worse (guilty) and worry about returning for subsequent care.

Most of the reviews I see for this practice are for Dr. Wallace. While I've never met the man (and from what I've seen he's an amazing surgeon), I have to share some love for surgeon, Dr. McKnight. He and his team (the whole practice to be honest) were all first class. The surgery (while stressful since I am a worrier) and recovery were a breeze. At each point in the process I felt looked after, cared for, and informed. In the end, the most painful part of the process was the IV stick and the food restrictions, but that's par for the course with mouth surgery!
