The clips were not shipped as I was told they would be on 8/26. I had to drive to the store - 30 minutes - to check status. They were still just sitting here. I waited weeks for engraving that never happened. I waited weeks more for shipping that never happened. Not once did the store contact me. Not once did they do what they committed to doing. I will not, again, work with this jeweler.

The graduate was with me and we both found one that she really liked. She wanted white gold and it was shown in yellow. The person helping us was so pushy. The graduate has just barely tried it on and the person asked if she could wrap it up for us. We told her that we wanted white gold and she didn't know if it came in white gold. She said she would find out while we were at lunch. We never went back. Also a note for the owner. One of the pieces we were interested in was a necklace with a single pearl resting on a curved gold bar. We both loved the necklace but it wasn't centered on the bar. It wasn't a piece made there I guess but someone should have inspected it before it was put on display. The atmosphere was different in the new building, not the elegance that I experienced in the old building. Hope that you do okay and that your brand is something the traffic can tolerate.

But she kept looking at it, and after a few moments, proposed an ingenious solution, then fixed it instantly. She then looked at the second one, and again declared that there was nothing that could be done. I think she could tell by the look in my eye how much this crappy little piece meant to me, so she kept fiddling with it. She had to take it in the back and do more work, then returned with the repaired necklace. Not only did she successfully repair both items, she did it quickly . . . and she didn't even charge me. I don't have a frequent need for jewelry repair but, when I do, there's no place else I'll go!

We called here to see if we could have a brass bell engraved. They were confident in their answer…read morein being able to engrave it so we dropped the bell off with them. We called to check on the bell and first were told the girl who could work on it didn't come in until 10 one morning and they would call us with an update. I'm sure there was some confusion with myself calling and my husband being the person they called back however, after we called to check again on the bell, we were told that they engraved it, didn't like how it came out, buffed it, and would be re-engraving it. Once again, when we called to check on it, we were told that the girl that did engraving didn't work on Mondays. Then, next thing we know, they are telling us they can no longer engrave it. I understand that unpredictable situations occur and perhaps my perception of the experience is a bit different, but we were told they could do something and then after apparently doing work, could no longer perform the service requested. It just felt a bit off... everyone was friendly when we would call so nothing against the employees, just ended up being a situation that set us back on this project (a gift) a few weeks longer than we would have liked and just seemed like we were being given false information.
