Laura, one of the owners, conducted the tasting which included 6 nice-sized samples perfectly paired with delicious cheeses. She was friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The decor of Con Amici is elegant, yet cozy and would be a great location for a girls night or a date night. On our visit they had live music, which added to the ambience. At the end of the tasting we had time to share a bottle of wine. I told Laura that I enjoyed Sauvignon Blancs and she picked us out a fantastic bottle, even better that is was only $18. We plan on coming back next time we are in the area and recommend it to anyone staying the in the Dells or neighboring areas. It took us about 20 minutes to get from Ishnala, where we had dinner, to Con Amici. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

As soon as we sat down, the owner (Kathy) was there and asked us what kind of wine we liked. I told her cabs; the hubs, whites. Within a few minutes she was back with an arm full of wines and began pouring us tastings and did not stop until each of us found something. Not just something we liked, something we LOVED. I've never been to any wine establishment that took such time and lengths to ensure you had the greatest experience. If you're anywhere near the Lodi area, go visit Kathy and Mark.
