There's also a baseball field, basketball court, hockey and tennis courts for older kids. There's not usually many kids using the playground (sometimes good and sometimes a bad thing). Unfortunately, that Rita's does not have any seating so I decided to go across the street to Warner Avenue Park and Playground. The park has a large variety of benches and a few tables, which is nice. They were nice and clean as well. It was a great place to stop and enjoy a nice ice cream! The park itself is very nice as well. There is a large basketball court, two playgrounds and a small walking trail. Around the entire park, there are beautiful flowers planted. There is even a small section of the park where you can sit down and see the amazing beauty. The basketball court is very nice and well-maintained. It is also full sized! The court is very popular as well as kids were flocking to it. The two playgrounds were also very nice. They included a variety of events including many slides! Around the park was also a cool frog statue! Altogether, this is a nice little park in the heart of Bryn Mawr!

Elwell Field is a great park/playground that is on our rotation of places to go with the kiddo…read more There are multiple play structures including a large wooden play structure that offers multiple stories of things to play on. Underneath has some pretend items for smaller kids to play in. Multiple slides including one enclosed 2 story slide that is a favorite of ours. 2 additional stand-alone slides, a geodesic dome, swings... plenty of things for everyone to play on! There is also a couple of baseball fields that are catty-corner to one another with some grass in between. There are two tennis courts that are in really great shape and two basketball courts that are usually open. The park is adjacent to the Haverford College nature trail which is a nice way to extend a park visit or change up the walk to and from the park. Parking is a bit of a pain in the butt, only street parking however it is worth the hassle.

The water was pretty with a bunch of lilly pads floating, people were fishing, kids playing on the jungle gym and riding bikes around. There are 4 courts next to each other, fenced in on two sides and fairly well kept. We saw lots of families here and even though it was almost 100 degrees, we had a fantastic time.

The Bensalem Chargers took the love he has for basketball and developed him into a player. The environment and the league is what it's supposed to be about basketball, the player, the team and the game. Development, basic skills and when the player is ready challenges. I applaud the league here for holding tournaments, practices, training etc.... Whatever it takes to change/mentor our youth for the better, which is what is going on here is a win-win for me.

There are always more people then available seating. The bathrooms are one step below a gas station. They have tournaments there and over charge the parents at the door. The staff is rude. They hire people to help park cars. The people who help out are usually grumpy. Almost every time I've been to this place I see two things. A fight and injuries because the kids slip and fall a lot. It is so miserable there the parents get grumpy and shouting at the refs are commonplace. They have leagues there but it's such a downer at this place teams stop showing up.
