I purchased two lines during their black Friday promotions. Only one phone was delivered. When I called back, they told me there was no issue and they would honor it. I've been speaking with around 7 persons for the last 3h00 but a resolution is yet to be reached. They are telling me that since they tried to call me once on a certain day and I did not pick up, they simply canceled my phone... Never told me about it, I never seen the call. Very shady. They can choose to cancel a line by pretending they called once but if I want to get them to respect the deal, I need to call several time and wait hours and hours... I was I Fido user for over 20 + years. I had my car broken into and my tablet stolen, the person accessed my Fido account, as it was open, and ordered an top of the line cell, with a very expensive cell plan. I had put an block on my account. Funny thing is Fido told me no one should be able to take a tablet number and use it for an cell phone. And I didn't have a cell with them, just a tablet at the time. But because they did it on line, and Fido doesn't run the online part of it. They got away with all of it. So I've done everything I had to do, I put a block on my line, and even intercepted the cell they ordered, and returned it. They closed my account for six month, yes for SIX MONTHS. Where I lost my job, as I needed to us maps to find places. All because. they made the mistake, they outsource the online ordering and that allowed somebody to order a cell phone on a tablet phone number. They even I made it to the mistakes, yeah I'm the one who Lost my job I'm the one who suffered and they didn't give him one rats ass about me. Well see them in court. I want to see them pay for the hurt and hell they put me through. Over 20 plies years maybe even 30 years. I was so mad about the service. Ask me waiting for more than half an hour and told me I couldn't have a phone number because I didn't bring my other stuff. At beginning, I told them why I came here and you could ask for the documents at first. The staff acted like I was wrong, and even no sorry. I gave you my business and you gave me grief. Note how many websites and blogs and even 2 face book accounts are dedicated to Fido Sucks or terrible service complaints with real people telling you their story about how FIDO FAILS TO MEET THE EXPECTATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!! You are not a good service provider. Your customer service is terrible. What is wrong with you people and your over billing then hanging up on customers who get mad at you? Its your mistake Fix it. You people are terrible and very sucky little cry babies, and that is not professional. I am moving on. Dont ever deal with Fido. There was a time they were good about 8 years ago when i started dealing with them but something has changed and now you have options with so many people who actually want to be your provider and provide service there is no reason anyone should ever sign up with Fido again. Their customer service people are complete Fidopes and their supervisors taught them to avoid conflict and try to make whatever happens your fault as a customer. Unbelievable. DO NOT sign on with Fido. Besides, Mobilicity and Wind mobile and Virgin Mobile are all cheaper services that want your business, unlike these arrogant turdmonkeys. I can not begin to express how sickening thier customer service is and the near impossibility of collecting your fido dollar rewards because you cant use them in a store, and you cant buy accessories anymore so what good are they? NONE. And FYI Fidopes, i always lose service on the 407 with your lousy service and its not much better in Toronto. I am not a big fan of any of the wireless service providers, however Fido has been a complete nightmare. It all started with the completion of our service agreement and the wish to move to a different company, due to rude treatment from their customer service dept on 3 Different occasions. Our final bill was more than 4 times normal. They had billed us for unlocking our phone twice, as well as fees for terminating early even though we terminated on the day our contract was up. After repeated attempts to get these issues resolved, over 4 months, the bill was cut in half (still more than it should be), we agreed to pay, I told them to send us the revised bill - THEY SENT IT TO A COLLECTION AGENCY !!!! Be aware that it seems from our perspective that very clearly Fido's game plan seems to be to screw the customer if they leave. read more
