I don't recommend at all. I thought bringing my policies to a family owned/smaller business would…read moreprovide better service and attention to detail but that has not been the case. The quotes were really good, so I decided to switch a few of my policies over and it has been nothing but a hassle. I have to constantly send reminders for quotes until literally the last day of a policy end date to get a quote. Matt says one thing but doesn't seem to follow through unless you pester him. The final straw for me was 2 major things that have never happened to me before. 1) Malloy not submitting my proof of insurance to my mortgage and my mortgage company threatening to charge me for their own insurance. Matt assured me he would do on June 14, 2023 but on July 10, 2023 I got a final notice that I needed to submit the proof of insurance. Matt was of course on vacation, so I had to call and make sure this got done with someone else. My previous brokers would do this automatically and include my mortgage onto the policy so they would get the proof automatically. The kicker in this was that all they needed was the certificate to be emailed. Matt said he would do it but that never happened. I don't know why I never followed up. I really thought he would do it since its important. My mistake! I also finally paid the premium a month later when getting the certificate. 2) I have been asking for a quote on anther property that I have insured with them since June 14, 2023 for the renewal date of July 30, 2023. Matt said he would look into for me. With my past brokers I always get a renewal notice 60 days in advance with the new premium price so get ample time to price it out. Matt never got back to me so I called the office on July 17, 2023 and to my SURPRISE! my policy was cancelled in October 2022 without my knowledge. Basically, I was without home insurance for that property since October of 2022. I asked why I never got any notification and Suzanne told me that they sent a notice to the investment address. Now my mailing address which they should have on file is not this investment address but a PO Box. So now I have to wait to see if they can re-send me my refund check. I just don't understand why Malloy did not contact me directly regarding the cancellation. My previous brokers would have emailed me directly and helped make other arrangements for insurance. I won't be renewing this property with Malloy. This is my final straw. I don't have any confidence in doing business with them anymore. I will hold out until all my policies are expired and just stick with my previous brokers. To not be notified that my policy was cancelled is just not acceptable to me. The broker I use should be on top of these policies to make sure there are no problems. This is my honest and real experience.

It definitely doesn't warrant them closing a zero balance account without my authorization. Due to their negligence I now lost some points due to their stupid policy, whatever that may be. Do yourself a favor never get a credit card if it is issued by them. Their customer service is awful as well.
