This is the first time to this branch. I think service was great. I needed to provide durable POA, and they processed/submitted it quickly for me. I got a call a week later from the legal department to answer a couple questions. Now waiting for the final confirmation. Typically, I go to the one in Shrewsbury area but this location is closer to work. I think the service there is also great. There wasn't a yelp account for that location so I put it here as I would rate it the same. My small problem is just that you may have to wait a long period of time during peak times as there are limited service providers. I have definitely taken a lot of their time just due to the nature of the requests, so I can understand that there is not much that can be done about it. read more

From my first encounter with my assigned advisor my entire experience with Fidelity has been abysmal. From alluding to my deceased husband saying something negative about me to keeping me there for four hours while accomplishing nothing except him using a white board to show me how I could have 9 million by the time I am in my 90's (wth) to then getting assigned a new advisor who has lost me more than $200k in a month's time. At my age and situation this is totally unacceptable. They also manage my deceased husband's pension plan (Mondelez). I thought their advisors and investment strategies were sorely lacking but after dealing with Fidelity/ Pension, I realized quickly that I need to pull the plug on Fidelity. Bottom Line: Fidelity is your typical American Corporate whore. They only serve themselves and those who are whales; everyone else they laugh at. The more you know. read more

Brought a rollover check to this branch, a few years of savings there, enough that I thought I should handle it in person. We'll overnight the check to our service center, the people said. Then they sent it good old fashioned snail mail! No phone call back to me asking if that was ok, no email, nada. Mass confusion at the branch when I called 6 days later to get the tracking number because no action on the account. Finally the story came out, oops we sent it USPS. Argh. I called called, and called again. The first agent asked me for all my personal information, before transferred me to a psychic reader!! I am not making up! What kind of financial investment firm uses psychic reading!!! My second call was transferred to a machine, press 1, press 3... Dealing with answering machine gave me much more confident in Fidelity then reading future based on HOROSCOPE. I am really concerned about whether I should stay using their service. read more

Really handy that they have their own parking lot, but the space is a tad confusing. You have to enter through the area where it says "public parking lot" and then make another left into Fidelity's own private lot (which does not require muni-meter payment). I trust Fidelity with my money so much more than any of the other big-guy banks (Chase, BOA, Citi, Wells Fargo) ... they're just so nice about the way they handle your money and customer service is usually top-notch. Transactions are very easy - you give them the info, they process, you're in and out within 5 minutes. read more

My entire family had been with Fidelity for over forty years. I had accounts there since birth. At the twenty year mark they fired my regular senior account executive --- every year after that, a new letter telling me someone else will handle my accounts. I never bothered anyone at Fidelity and they never gave me advice. About three years ago, I get a letter from management stating some other company would be able to handle my accounts better. Lol. I called up Fidelity and said "what, you don't want people's money anymore?" They said that If I wanted to know why they wanted me gone then I'd have to hire a lawyer in order to find out. So after forty years, I left and they were right about one thing --- the new company has done a fantastic job and I'm making a ton more $$$. This Morristown location has and never had a clue as to what they're doing. They could care less about their long term customers. Zero loyalty. They did me a HUGE favor. I love this Fidelity! Everyone is professional and if they don't know an answer, they immediately find a source that does. The private parking lot is a major plus...especially because parking in Morristown can be a little hectic. read more

Customer Service is nothing special at this location. I have never seen the same person at the service counter twice. Men dress professionally (wear suits), but the women wear cardigans (?). Generally, the service people seem very inexperienced, as if this is their first real job. I have been left at the counter several times by service reps who cannot answer questions that would seem to be rather basic while they go ask someone else in the back. As for the physical space; nice, modern and large. Parking lot is a plus, but some other locations (e.g., Bridgewater) have that also. Try to conduct your business with Fidelity by phone when you can. read more
