I'd recommend avoiding this company. We've used them in the past with mixed results (delays due to…read moremistakes etc) but generally we liked them and kept using them multiple times for home loans. However, they approached us recently for a lower rate re-fi that was to be "free" to us, which sounded like a no-brainer, so we moved forward with it. Unfortunately, after lots of time wasted providing them with requested documents etc., we noticed that it appeared the loan would not be free at all, and in fact would be a bad deal for us, and would end up costing us money due to closing costs and having to reset our loan term. We asked about this apparent discrepancy and initially got a vague reply from one of the reps. When we emailed Erik Kaiter to get a definitive answer about this, suddenly... crickets. No response and we've since been ghosted - never heard from them again. So it was a big scam which we almost fell for. Not a good way to do business with loyal clients (or anybody).
