    Dave did a great job on a tricky project. I had a 1999 Porsche 911 and both leather front seats were showing their age. Both needed some minor cracks filled as well as some color touchup. I was worried that a repair job would leave the seats feeling too stiff from the dye/paint and also possibly look unnatural. Dave did a great job repairing and redying the seats in the needed areas as well as blending the other areas. The results were awesome! The seats still look "natural" but much newer. Dave is a pro! I'd hire him again!

    DO NOT USE!!! Dave was 20 minutes late to his appointment (AAA had to come out because he left his car light on). That wasn't a huge deal, but then other things happened and that's why I'm posting this review. Dave's Job was to repair a scratch on the steering wheel as well as scrapes on both the front driver and passenger seats. After working for a few hours, Dave said he was done. I came out and pointed out a scratch on the steering wheel (not the original one, a new one Dave did). He said I was meticulous like him and he would fix it. Half hour to forty minutes later, he asks me to come take a look at his work. I pointed out scratches/marks on the front seat in the areas that Dave was supposed to repair. Dave said he wanted me to be happy, so he said he would fix it. Another half hour to forty minutes later, he said he was done and if I could look at his work. I noticed a tiny area on the steering wheel that was raised, but because I had to leave, he left me a piece of sandpaper to file it down later. The product wasn't dry so he couldn't file it down himself. Overall the areas he worked on were satisfactory. I wasn't one hundred percent happy, but it wasn't horrible work either. Once I got home, I discovered there were product marks on my driveway, garage floor, and throw rug. I took photos and sent them to Dave. He said had it seen it, he would have cleaned it... really??? Instead of offering to come back to clean it, he told me the product was water based, and to use soap and water to clean it. About two weeks later, I discovered there was something on the inside of my right rear passenger side door and the inside panel. I was able to clean most of it, but then I realized it was from Dave's job. There was overspray on the inside panel as well as product drip on the inside of the door. I immediately stopped, took photos, and called him. I sent the photos to Dave. He offered to come over and clean it, and said the overspray was from him, but not the drip marks on the door. Not wanting him to come back, I asked for a partial refund. Dave replied back saying he could come out and clean it, even if he didn't cause it (which he did). I then tried a second time to clean it. While doing so, I realized if I picked at it, I could peel it off... but only in really small pieces. It took me 15-20 minutes to clean it all off. I took 3 videos of my cleaning it and sent them to Dave. I told him between cleaning my garage floor, driveway, the overspray, and him dripping product in my car, it took me a total of about 40 minutes to clean up after his job. His reply was the drip marks were from a leaky airbrush, but then said he said never worked in the back seat.... huh? I even asked him if he ever had the right rear passenger side door ever opened during the job, but he said he couldn't recall. He was very sassy in his last text message and told me he was confused as to why I called him in the first place because I was able to clean it. And he told me he was way past being off work and if I wanted to discuss the matter further I could message him the next day. On his website it says he works till 8:00pm, I messaged him right before 8:00pm. Needless to say, save yourself the headache, use someone else!

The salesman found one with my specs in Phoenix, and I offered to wait for delivery, but he wouldn't pay for the transfer. So, being a helpful person, I asked, "Boss, why don't you just reupholster one on your lot?" He balked, but he was two days in, and a sale is a sale. He agreed to change the leather and provide a rental during installation - for $1600. I chuckled and countered with $200. We settled at $500. The leather arrived at American Sunroof (ASC) a week later, where my car was reupholstered. When I went to pick it up at the dealership, I examined the finished work and noticed a loose patch of leather. The salesman and I called ASC and spoke to their salesperson Patti, who asked me to bring the car to ASC for an adjustment. That work only took an hour, and the leather, like the car itself, looked beautiful. I was particularly impressed by ASC's willingness to do what it took to get my upholstery just right, even though that's not their core business. I'm pretty well-set with my current car, but if I decide to upgrade or modify my next ride, I'll call ASC, without any hesitation.
