West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA

Great Overnight Stay - Clean, Convenient, and Well-Maintained…read more We stayed one night at the KOA in Omaha, Nebraska while passing through town. Although we made our reservation in advance, there were several open sites available when we arrived. The campground was clean, well-maintained, and overall very pleasant. The bathrooms were clean, and the showers had great water pressure with plenty of hot water - a welcome surprise! The entire campground was festively decorated for Halloween, which added a fun seasonal touch. We stayed at a tent site with electricity. One thing to note: there were a lot of grasshoppers bouncing around up until dusk, but surprisingly, not a single mosquito. One of the standout conveniences was the on-site made-to-order pizza, which they delivered right to our campsite. The campground was quiet at night, making for a restful stop. We also appreciated the morning trash pickup right at the end of our site - a small but thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone passing through the area.

I'll start by saying we have stayed here many times in the past on our regular journeys from…read moreIllinois to Colorado. This KOA has always been sort of a beacon - a safe place to stay knowing we were about halfway home. So, on our trip home to Illinois this weekend, we didn't hesitate to book. What a frustrating experience! We arrived late because of traffic issues and couldn't wait to get to our spot, clean up, and unwind before going to bed. It took us over a half hour to find our spot in the pitch dark. There is zero lighting. I don't mean low lighting or kind of dim lighting - ZERO! They've added more spaces and expanded the campground - which is super! But, there is no street, path, or site number lighting to help find your space. My husband had to use a flashlight to find the map they left with our reservation details. We were in the newer area, and took a few minutes to orient ourselves to the map. Well, the directions outlined on the map were wrong. I got out of the RV to walk the dark campground with a flashlight to try and figure out where our site was. We finally figured out that we were in the wrong section, so I walked around in the dark on the unpaved and very rutted road in the dark and finally found our spot. I had to shine the flashlight on each site because none of the site numbers are lit or easy to see. Once to our site - the full hookup site we paid for - there was water pressure for about an hour, then nothing. Super! Walking the dogs the next morning, there are no cans for pet waste, which is super neat, too. You can bring the stinky bag of dog poop back to your site and throw it away somewhere - because there are no dumpsters in the new part of the park, and the way out doesn't go past the main area anymore. My husband went to talk to the office to bring up the issues of no lighting, incorrect directions, and no water pressure - and the reply was - yeah, that's frustrating. Really? We paid $100 to stay on your property for maybe 10 hours after spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to even find the spot we paid for and had no water pressure to wash the dirt off from walking around in the dark for a half hour. Agreed, frustrating! Hopefully they work the kinks out - I am not sure we will be back. We chose to stay here out of convenience, familiarity, and past experiences - which were all good. Our concerns were shrugged off. I think it's time for us to find another travel beacon in Nebraska.

My father was promised the camper was in top shape. He is now on the road and has identified the following problems, some stemming from the water damage and some apparently existed prior to the egregious negligence that caused the water damage: 1) Bedroom Slide-Out is broken 2) Mattress support deck is broken 3) Trim pieces at the junction of mattress support deck and the trailer body are broken 4) Device to raise, lower and position the roof TV antenna is broken 5) the kitchen faucet leaks 6) multiple windows/rubber gaskets/seals are broken 7) Main door deadbolt is inoperable. Mr. Leach - how exactly do you plan on addressing these issues? My father was able to use the existing, faulty trailer towards purchasing a new trailer, which he is happy with. Thank you for resolving the issue.

So I took it to a patriot authorized dealer and they told me chat all the parts that central body was telling me were not factory that they were in fact factory. So I decided to take it to a trailer frame shop who told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my trailer. Central body cost me my walleye fishing trip not to mention the pain and anguish I went through thinking my trailer was junk. Come to find out they just jacked the trailer up in a nonload bearing spot total ignorance on their part. I would not have them do any work to any thing I own.

We had body damage, hydraulic lines broken, electrical on our slide out, as well as a bent axle. The earliest we could get into anyplace for just an estimate was over a month. Central Body got us in the very next day. They would have had the work done in a couple of weeks if not for the insurance company which delayed things horribly. Thank God for Brittani, their service writer. Brittani stayed on the insurance company and kept us informed all along the way. In regards to the actual repairs, the estimate was very thorough they found some issues we did not know about and got on the repairs as soon as approvals and parts were in line. I cannot tell there was any damage at all. I cannot say enough positive things about my overall experience with Central Body.
