I told him that he had previously told me that the ring was a good fit. His response was that he gave me a good deal on the ring. Does that make sense? I mean, maybe he did give me a good deal but what does that have to do with the part where you told me the ring fit even though it didn't? The other part that bothered me was when he told me the charge was $399... What happened to the $300?? When I questioned this, he said the cost of gold had gone up. Two questions: 1. Mom always liked them too & I thought she'd said she'd had Dad buy her that set from Yellow Brick Road. I told one gentleman that I wanted it appraised. He said "Gary, I'm sorry to bother you but I need you out here." Bother? Wait. Did he just imply me and my question were a bother? Gary made it clear to me that it wasn't fine jewelry and he'd never have sold such a thing. Wow. Ok, sorry I BOTHERED you. I smiled and thanked them and promised myself I'd never be a bother to them again. And if you have any questions on jewelry, don't bother them either.
