Had to take my little kitty here because he was peeing blood. The staff was extremely friendly and took such great care of us and Monster. We were in and out! Absolutely will come back here if one of my animals are in an emergency. The entire building was very clean and in great shape too. Price was not as high as I expected it to be. Will for sure take any and all of my animals here if we need an emergency vet in the future. Thanks Fetch!

I don't usually do many reviews. But this one deserves it. All the staff here at fetch , were beyond incredible, they discussed plan A treat with meds running tests etc$1400 or more but in this circumstance it wouldn't have been in the dogs best interest. Plan B was the best decision for the dog so he wouldn't suffer. We have spent the last 5 years with our beloved chewy whom passed yesterday 6-26-24, due to bite would and chunks taken from his body by another dog, chewy was maltipoo and what got him was a German shepherd! Obviously we are filling charges and all that. But this will never bring our little dude back. They were very upfront and very very professional and caring towards us as the family and the pet. If you haven't met them before you need too. Even tho we expected to bring our little bud home , and then we didn't bring him home. I held my little guy in my arms as he passed away peacefully. I have watched 2 people die and one pet now. And it doesn't get any easier. Thank you to this phenomenal team for going ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!

$250 for them to stick something up a dog's rear and leave ticks in his ear. I am an 82 yr old woman who made the mistake of saying I would hold a lost dog for folks who were supposedly turning it in at shelter. Shelter refused to take him and I, exhausted, got him to Fetch to have him ckd out. They said could do no more unless I wanted to pay $1000.00. Yes. Thousand. And oh yes - vet said be careful because "he tried to bite me" ! Poor little vet! No, they would not keep him overbite so I could rest and figure our what to do. A customer in their parking lot offered to watch him after I could not get him in the car and needed to go for a bite to eat. Then she came to Whole Foods as I was checking out and said they came out to parking lot and took him inside. She said they told her they would have him in a cage if I did not come back until the next day! I went back, asked would they keep him until next day. They refused.

Mr. Leroy Sunny Brown....we LOVE Fetch!

Fetch was recommended by a friend because based on my experience I am unwilling to give Upstate or their satellite business here in Asheville S.A.V.E.S my trust and money. Upstate and S.A.V.E.S. are owned by the same corporation. My dog left S.A.V.E.S in significantly WORSE condition than when she arrived. (Very corporate and conveyer belt environment). In contrast, FETCH WAS A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! Dr. Rak, Danielle and the entire internal medicine team were truly competent and kind. The entire staff from front of the house to the back of the house were incredibly thorough and communicative from start to finish. What I appreciated is that Fetch went over every detail of cost subtracted what I asked to be subtracted. Any emergency vet will be expensive...(FYI...Upstate & S.A.V.E.S. Is on average 5% increase on cost) and I appreciated that they were conscious of my budget. I highly recommend this privately owned state of the art facility. It was worth the 90 minute drive to have peace of mind during a vulnerable time. THANK YOU FETCH for taking such great care of Leroy Sunny Brown!

Very personable, caring and professional. I've had to have two dogs put down in several months and I received sympathy cards both times.

From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. Ike's condition was complex, but Dr. Khulman took the time to carefully evaluate his symptoms and ultimately diagnose him with prostatitis--something that could have easily been missed. What stood out most was how clearly everything was explained. They walked me through the diagnosis, treatment plan, and what to expect moving forward, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. Mollie was equally wonderful--gentle with Ike, reassuring with me, and always one step ahead in making sure he was comfortable. One thing I especially appreciated was that I never had to leave Ike's side the entire time. Being able to stay with him throughout the process made such a difference and speaks volumes about the level of compassion and transparency they provide. Their professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care made all the difference. I'm so grateful Ike was in their hands, and I would absolutely trust them again in an emergency. Highly recommend this team

We'd had a snow storm, and our vet was closed, but we had to get her help. We found VEG ER for Pets and rushed her over. They were so kind and caring. They examined her and gave her something for nausea, but informed us that she'd had a debilitating stroke. We were heartbroken. We had to make the difficult decision to put her down. They gave us all the time we needed in a private room, before we called them in. She went to sleep in my son's arms. I cannot express how good they were to us. I'm just so thankful for them! And, today, we received a card of condolences from everyone there last Monday.

Our pet was conscious and able to breathe, so I was fine when certain conditions got rushed ahead of us. We waited about two hours before getting out of the waiting room, and then another two hours before seeing the actual vet. But after 4 hours of listening to your dog wimpering in pain, even the most sensitive and calm people would start to break. I wish someone had at least taken a glance at him and give some reassurance. When our pet was finally seen, the treatment was done promptly. In less than an hour he was returned and we were told to wait a couple minutes for the vet notes and medicine. We waited two hours for those notes. My dog was a miserable mess from the meds, his e-collar, and all his wounds. The lady working at the desk that night was very nice and tried to reassure that we would indeed eventually get to leave. But it is just never something I've had happen at any other format of doctors office before. Usually when places are busy, they do their best to sweep you right out the door. It's this final two hour wait that gets them two stars instead of three. All in all, we were there 7 hours. I would not want to go back, but after hour choices are limited. This place was at least clean and the employees seem nice enough, but I would still encourage your pets not to get sick/injured on a Sunday or a weeknight.

First off, he wait was a ridiculous 4 hours for a place where you need immediate care, and then they make you wait in parking lot and don't communicate anything to you. After 4.5 hours I demanded to see my puppy after being told she still had not been assigned to a doctor. Dr. Traynor came in first and said her condition had worsened and she recommended euthanasia. I was shocked because I had not brought them a dying puppy and never intended to euthanize her! She said she had done a sonogram and she had heart disease. She shot down any idea of surgery saying it would be too expensive and when I said I wanted to bring my puppy home, she further argued with me that she was suffering too much for that. Finally, I reluctantly agreed to euthanasia. When they brought my Olivia into me she was already dead. I pointed out to Dr. Traynor that she wasn't breathing, was cold and her eyes were glazed over and she immediately checked for a heartbeat and said there was one so she had to get the medicine in her before I would object. I was so overwhelmed with grief at that point that I couldn't even function. Later, I thought about the whole situation and it just didn't make any sense. It became obvious to me that they put her in an oxygen cage and simply forgot about her, leaving her to go down hill with no care. I later met with Dr Traynor and the Administrator and got more unsettling news. Apparently they don't document when their patients are treated and could offer my no more than a document that said she was sleeping when I asked for proof that they were monitoring my puppy. The sonogram was never noted on her chart and only diagnosis was heart murmur and suggested treatment was euthanasia, which was the only thing on my bill. Dr. Traynor further admitted that when she was initially admitted to the hospital, someone looked at her and decided euthanasia was the treatment. They further agreed that I should have been communicated with and told 4 hours earlier of their plan, so that I could have made a decision earlier on which would have been to take my puppy home. I drove an hour to their facility because they are supposed to have specialists to take care of heart issues but instead they have vets just out of vet school! Lastly, I had a conversation with Dr. Rob Presley, the Chief of Staff, who assured me that they had always had the best interest of their patients at heart but eventually just wanted to pay me off and have me sign a gag order for his insulting offer! I suggested many changes in order to benefit future patients and ultimately clear up problems but apparently he is not really interested in doing that. I have spoken to many of the negative posters here and they are willing to join my crusade to get Upstate to take notice of their short comings and join in the voice to be heard. I will be taking to the media and animal rights groups to get my story and all of the others out there in hopes of Upstate finally taking notice. Please contact me if you want to also partake in facilitating some change so that you beloved pets will get the proper care they deserve! And please do comment if you've had a bad experience so that others will know of the cruel and sub-par service Upstate Emergency clinic offers!

After some tests Dr Martinez recommended 8-chemo treatments over 4-months. All went well during treatments, but unfortunately later more tumors appeared. Dr Martinez said further treatments would not be productive and predicted he had 3-6 months left. The doctor suggested medication that might slow the progress. He lived 7-more months. When the end came we went to UV where the doctor verified it was time. They have a "comfort room" where I spent time saying good-bye before Dr Martinez administered the drug. DiNozzo passed peacefully in seconds. Everyone involved was gentle and respectful. They made a clay disc of his paw print and later sent a book to me about dogs in heaven that was signed by many employees that had met DiNozzo. Dr Martinez wrote a nice note in the book. As DiNozzo had been a patient at UV Dr Martinez said there was no charge for the final visit. All pet stories don't have a happy ending but going to UV got us another year together. I truly appreciate the care and treatment that was given to my fur buddy by the team in building #1 at Upstate Vet in Greenville, SC.

The tech and doctor working that day were extremely caring and thoughtful. They approached the examinations and subsequent care plans with reason. After two visits in one day, we eventually settled back into our hotel room and watched our baby like hawks. Connie, the tech who had helped us, called before she wrapped up her shift to check on things. We felt very confident in the care we received. The facility was clean and had everything needed to run diagnostics on our girl. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing emergency vet care, this hospital is a great option.
