Most of the sites aren't level at all as the property is on a pretty good hill... most sites appear to be too steep to get an RV level without blocked it up quite a bit... The only thing I got out of them was that you had to go into the office to get to the washer and dryer.... just seems too weird to me.

Host hates kids and won't let them have any fun. The cops laughed at the hosts because we were doing absolutely nothing wrong, the hosts kept making up rules and lying to the cops to try and get us kicked out. This was the worst camping experience we've ever had and we've camped all over northwest and east Alabama. They should be reported to KOA Corporate, this is the absolute worst KOA I've ever seen. We are glad we aren't welcome back. They can post about it all they want and lie all they want. You could see where the stick was drug to the road in the dirt. This place is way overrated and the new staff is RUDE. We never even wanted to go this year but it was the only place open so we decided to go. We are SO glad we aren't welcome back.

This is less than 5 miles from where my new job was in 2022. Their website had just changed and…read moreit no longer had any clear information --- I say this because I had been looking at RV parks/campgrounds for a year before I wanted to move to this area. I had seen their site before and it previously had all the information you needed. I wanted to stay long term... and they have showers & a laundry room but the management told me that those amenities were available only to Short Term guests. I was like, what? only for short term guests? They were pretty nasty about it, so I moved to another place -- there are lots of places to stay from Athens to Decatur that I found. Anyway, my brother lives near this place and he said there was a sign saying they had new management. I tried to check with them again and they were more rude and nasty than they were the first two times I tried to talk to them. A co-worker lived there and he said they'd be without water for days at a time without any notice or without any communication about when it was expected to be repaired --- now, I see reviews talking about the water being off like this. I'm glad I didn't get a chance to stay, even though it was the best location to live for my job.

We have stayed in areas with much more expensive electricity, while running two A/Cs, and our electricity cost has never been higher than $55. --- that was actual cost withan $8 fee for reading the meter. We don't even need A/C now & we're not paying $95 for $12 of electricity. They are also located in a smelly industrial area, a sewage treatment plant is less than a mile away.
