My family has been going here for years with all our eye concerns. Dr Ferris does an outstanding job. Would highly recommend

I wish I could give zero stars. This is my third, AND FINAL, time at this clinic. He is rude, arrogant and sarcastic. Zero bedside manner. His staff is nice, though. He refused to call in a different medicine for my eye after me informing him that my insurance did not cover it. He wanted me to come back in and pay another copay. He is greedy and hateful. His next suggestion was for me to go to another clinic. He is very much insufferable and arrogant. You would be better off going to a gas station to get glasses and urgent care to get treated for eye issues. Stay away. read more

Please avoid this man at ALL COST!!! he is a horrible human being. My teenage daughter had the absolute worst experience with this individual. She saw him at America's Best Glasses and Contacts in Gadsden, AL. She went back for a follow up appointment after wearing a trial pair of contacts that did not fit, nor was the right prescription. He did not like the fact that she wanted to change the brand of contacts that are made from Bausch and Lomb of which he said he never has heard of?!?!?! What optometrist in the US has not heard of that brand... To add insult to injury the trial pair that he gave her are not even approved by ABGC!!!!!!Come on now. He pretty much told my daughter that he did not know what she wanted, nor did he care!!! Needless to say, when she called me crying, I immediately went into mama bear mode!! I went up to the office and the coward would not even talk to me!!! I implore you DO NOT USE this man. He has no beside manner, he's rude and obnoxious!!!! Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!!!!!!!! I'm only giving him a 1 star rating because that's the only way to submit this review, so please don't think he even deserved that 1!!! read more

I had worst experience here as I had VSP insurance but still paid over $800 for safety glasses that didn't fit and the receptionist was very very ugly. Will never go again. read more

I hope I never have to deal with this company again. This town is too small for me to go into detail about how horrible my experience was and all the details of what happened. You can't trust anyone in the building, and they are so loud and over the top "polite" it's uncomfortable and clearly insincere. That aside, I will say the man is skilled. He provided the most accurate prescription I've had in a long time. But who cares? They are over priced and dishonest. read more

Ferris Eye Clinic has been the most outstanding experience in eye care that I have ever found. Our family has been blessed with corrective lenses that provided the clearest vision we have had in years. I personally use the Ortho K from Dr. Ferris which are contacts that are worn only at night during sleep and result in 20/20 vision during the day, and this is a great alternative to Lasik. I can now play the piano and the cello in an orchestra without glasses, and this experience has greatly improved the quality of my life. I highly recommend Dr. Ferris as he is greatly experienced and cares for his patients. The Ferris Eye Clinic staff is second to none in kindness and caring. God bless you, Dr. Ferris!
