Very Very Very disappointing experience at the Home Depot on Dennery Road in San Diego. This…read moremorning at 6:50am. I'm a commercial account holder for 27 years, and I'm definitely not someone who returns items. In fact, I almost never write negative reviews, but this experience really deserved one.
I purchased fence post for a job but realized it wouldn't fit in my two-seater car, so I had an employee process the return which we had the receipt for so no questions on product return!! When I went to use the $164 credit toward another purchase, they refused to allow it because the employee was with me had handled the return since I have a two seater car. Being a property manager I buy on workers and subcontractors to buy products not actually myself.
What really topped it off is that I had the receipt, yet they still wouldn't help resolve the situation. For a commercial account customer with proof of purchase, that's just ignorant and obviously she has a major POWER TRIP with her store manager title.
The manager, Graciela, showed very very poor customer service. Instead of trying to find a reasonable solution, she simply refused to help and shut the conversation down. Just keeping a very poor expression on her face. Wouldn't even try to help!!
To make matters worse, the store was out of stock on multiple items, making the whole trip even more frustrating and I will never go to this store again!! I'd rather drive an extra 20 mins to Lowe's than return back to this Home Depot!! Overall, this location one of the worst customer service and poor inventory management. I'd recommend going to another Home Depot or Lowe's!!
