My experience with the office staff has always been very good. When you call the office someone…read moreactually answers the phone and helps you. Fortunately I'm reasonable healthy and my interaction with the office is usually once a year for an annual physical. It is a review of blood labs, includes an EKG done in the office, and the normal look and listen to what's going on with my body. If referrals are needed for specialists follow-up they are made. I'm 77 years old and I've been a patient for over 10 years and they are keeping me going. I just called the office a few minutes ago, someone answered, helped me renew two prescriptions, and it took about 3 minutes. That's awesome. A few years ago I sliced open my finger on a very sharp kitchen knife. I called the office and they said to come right in. Dr. Strutz sewed up my finger right in his office saving me a trip to the ER. My last labs showed some decline in kidney function. Dr. Strutz said you were probably dehydrated, drink more water and he ordered a retest. He was correct, retest result all normal a consistent year over year.

Dr. Strutz was recommended by my audiologist after I lamented to him that the current medical…read moreoffice didn't help decipher my blood work results. Yesterday on my second visit he and I reviewed all my recent results in detail, he spend a lot of time with me, and gave me boat loads of advice and info. Best interaction I've ever had with a doctor. Highly recommend. Just an easy to talk to, very knowledgeable doctor, what else would you want? Also, front office staff is super friendly and professional. I live in Temecula, and don't mind driving the 30 minutes to Fallbrook, totally worth it.

Very knowledgeable and willing to listen. One day I messaged her, right after Christmas 2025. She usually gets right back to her patients, at least in my case, but in this case it was several weeks with no response so I figured maybe she was on a vacation. I was quite taken back when I found out that she had left the practice as I had just saw her a week prior to Christmas. . I never heard from her and I was pretty close to her as a patient and she knew so much about me and my medical and health needs. She helped me profoundly and I was absolutely grieved to see her go. It has been difficult to find a doctor like her. I have several conditions and a rare disease. She did not hesitate with unconventional and traditional approaches, and to listen to the patient and their needs as well as how they were feeling, to together come up with the solution that would alleviate the issues as well as provide hope for getting on a good path to overall health and well being and move forward to see what will work optimally for each of unique case. It is now April 2026 and I still am looking for a doctor that is even somewhat what Deborah Layton was.

She is also pro-holistic but still has a great knowledge about, and for the most part, supports western medicine. She is an excellent communicator and quick to address your needs . She doesn't hesitate to offer referrals when needed. All that to say that I love this doctor and Rancho Medical Group. I was very scared when I found out my other doctor stopped taking my medical insurance, but God had another plan and I am so glad that this happened the way that it did otherwise I would not have been introduced to this clinic, nor Dr. Deborah Layton.

Oh boy. Where do I start?…read more I broke my ankle 7/2/22 and went to the ER 7/3. Since 7/3 (Currently 7/12) I have been fucked around by this Medical Center. I've been told by one person to walk in for an appointment, having a nurse that day do her absolute best to kick me out. Telling the other nurse that it "takes too much paperwork" to do walk-ins and mentioned her fancy lunch she brought... must be why she didn't want to help anyone so she can worry more about her lunch. Didn't get her name, Had to convince her to let me wait inside & sit down w/ a broken ankle. Persistently said I won't be seen/should just leave. Kicked everyone out/told them to come back after 2pm when her lunch was over. I had Jason call and tell me they needed the x-rays and waited DAYS when it should have been there the 3rd after getting off the phone with the ER. I've been told how it's the insurance's fault; even though I have called both of my insurance numbers and both told me my doctor has filed the referral wrong-- causing a longer wait to get anyone to look at my broken ankle! It's been 9 days and no one has psychically looked at my ankle, the televisit with Robert Krochalis-Soliani was a joke, he didn't even have my x-rays that they needed so bad to make the appointment??? Which made me wonder if I could have gotten this done much faster the day I walked in!!! This still isn't taken care of, it's absolutely absurd that if anyone needs real medical attention it will just be thrown aside! If you want real medical help-- go somewhere else. Anywhere else. This place will tell you what you want to hear and takes fucking FOREVER to actually do what they are supposed to.
