Leading up to the month then week of the wedding, I had to reach out on several occasions to pay the reminder of my balance, ask if he received my DJ worksheet to help the flow of the evening, etc. Never was I contacted first. Leading up to the week of my wedding, I still had not heard from my scheduled DJ and Jeremiah had yet to inform me I needed to pick a backdrop for our photo booth. Three days before the wedding, I still had YET to hear from my DJ Ben. Once I was able to speak with him, we discussed the flow of the evening, must play songs, and important aspects of the evening to cover. Isn't the whole point of the timeline for the DJ to have a guide to use and not to need to bug the bride and the groom during the evening or require the bride and the groom to be on top of things as well and get the DJ to move onto the next aspect of the evening? When it came to the wedding night, the sound system was poor. I felt like I could barely hear my first dance song, even on the dance floor. There was no flow to the evening, requiring me as the bride to need a stiff drink to avoid my anxiety about how bad it was. The backdrop to the photo booth was wrong and not what was discussed just DAYS prior. The photo booth attendant did more time flirting with my guests then doing her job. She is in probably 20-30 photos, why? You are there to do your job, so do it, be professional! Only a few of the songs I had on my "must play" list were utilized. As the bride I had to ask about the cake cutting (which was never announced), as well as the dollar dance (which was poorly announced, therefore not even the mother of the bride or groom knew it was happening). It also only occurred for three songs. The list just keeps on going. Following the wedding, it took over three weeks to get access to the google drive for our photos from the photo booth after pestering from my end. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK ELSEWHERE.

They have all of the speakers and equipment already set up and it was one less thing for us to worry about. We first spoke with Jesse, who I believe kind of runs the company and went over a list of what we wanted. They have multiple DJs as part of this company and we were paired with Laci. I have to say it was a spectacular experience! She played the songs from the list of guest requests we had gotten when we asked for RSVPs, she was open to day of requests, and really knew how to keep people coming back to the dance floor. She payed enough attention to notice what types of songs kept people entertained and really made everything flow perfectly! She also played a variety (even some polka for my Czech family.) We requested a meeting with Mike. Mike was very polite and professional. He assured us that he could meet all our needs and request. We had a keyboard that we had asked him to hook a speaker up to and then mic our officiant. On the day of our wedding he was setting up as we were taking pictures and finishing up as guests arrived. He didn't have the right hook ups for our keyboard and then his mic was not working at all. Thank goodness we have an amazing family and they brought a new keyboard and the proper hook ups. Mike explained that he had just got the mic back from being worked on and didn't know why it was breaking static noises every time we used it. It was kind of frustrating having this happen at our reception. Our videographers saved the day and let us barrow one of their extra mics. We found it kind of humorous that he would ask my husband and I what we wanted to drink and then he would never bring us anything back. We were told that our DJ would have back up equipment and if they needed anything they would be there in plenty of time to run back and get whatever they need or someone would bring them their supplies. Mike was a great DJ he really did a nice job putting the music together and keeping everyone on the dance floor. I would say all-in-all he did a very nice job. He was worth every penny of his fee. He spoke with the couple twice before their event and created a playlist that featured their choices, but mixed to maximize the vibe of the evening. The music did not stop once for three hours and thus the dance floor was not ever empty. In fact, if the dance floor ever started to look even slightly less populated Glenn transitioned to a new song and kept the place hopping. I was surprised how late many of the guests stayed, but they kept saying the music kept them there. On top of the great music, Glenn was a great emcee and coordinator of the bridal party entrance and once the bridal party left played some old classics so us old folks could dance while we cleaned.
