We were married in a beautiful lavender field at Flatiron Fields in Sequim, Washington. The 15-acre…read morefarm was simply magical, with rows and rows and rows and rows of varying and vibrant shades of lavender, which our guests enjoyed exploring before and after the ceremony. We first met the owner, Keith, at the Field Arts and Events Hall Wedding Expo. He was personable, helpful, and very accommodating. He had several suggestions--while open to all of our ideas--for where we could hold the ceremony and how we could arrange seating. He was also open to us returning in the evening so we could have amazing photos taken during the "golden hour" lighting. And to top it off, he even supplied the lavender for our wedding reception centerpieces! And as a side note, there was ample parking for our 100 guests. In the end, we can't imagine how our wedding could have turned out any better! If you're getting married on the Olympic Peninsula, you should definitely take a good look at Flatiron Fields. We could not be any happier with our experience. --CB and Edwina Bell

The lavender fields make for some of the most magnificent and frame worthy photos. The staff is friendly, helpful, and people oriented. There's plenty near by to do including brunch spots and exploring the national park. And for those of us dog lovers, they allow your furry friends to join you! I cannot recommend them enough for your special day.

From roaring "what is even happening right now at Olympic Game Farm" energy to Jardin du Soleil's…read morefull sensory slow-down--lavender air, warm sun, and everything moving at the speed of a gentle breeze over the Dungeness Valley. And honestly, Sequim does this switch better than almost anywhere. One minute you're side-eyeing bison that look like they've seen too much civilization, and the next you're wandering a certified organic lavender farm tucked into the rain shadow of the Olympics, where the sky feels like it's been turned up to "HD saturation." Jardin du Soleil especially leans into that pastoral reset button: rows of purple stretching out under that big Olympic Peninsula light, goats and chickens doing their indifferent farm philosopher thing, and then the full dessert arc--lavender lemonade into lavender ice cream like the place is committed to you leaving slightly fragrant and emotionally recalibrated. It's also one of those rare "free 99" experiences where the admission price is basically just your willingness to slow your internal clock for a while. The real currency there is sun exposure, quiet footsteps through the rows, and the faint hum of bees working overtime. Sequim in general feels like it's built on contrasts like this--wild edge of the Olympic Peninsula on one side, and then suddenly you're in this cultivated, almost Provençal pocket where everything is trying very hard (and successfully) to be calm. If Olympic Game Farm is chaos theater, Jardin du Soleil is intermission with lavender ice cream.
