If you're looking to waste your time and money all while being disrespected, talked down to, and leaving with more questions than answers then this is the place for you!!! I came in with valid health concerns and was completely dismissed. Despite clearly expressing my symptoms and specifically asking for a referral to an endocrinologist, I was sent to a gynecologist instead--because apparently, that's the only way PCOS is treated here No real listening, no actual plan. I ended up switching to a new PCP who took me seriously on my very first visit--ran blood tests, gave me the referrals I originally asked for, connected me with a nutritionist, and is actively helping me manage my health. If you want a provider who actually listens, respects your concerns, and takes action, and treats you like a literal person....look elsewhere. read more

I am giving one star because I have too, otherwise I would give 5 in the negative. Accompanied my husband to his "Doctor Appointment (they don't have a doctor on site) against my better judgement. I have a 4 .5 pound "Certified Service Animal" She is a Diabetic Alert Dog, she detects changes in the smell of my breath. I had a bad feeling going into this that something bad was going to happen and I was right. My service animal was never in the furniture or on the floor. She sat in my lap the entire time. The front desk receptionist never made any comments about the dog. We were taken back to the exam room. A student ask if I was George's wife. I stated yes. According to the administrator"Well she was following HIPPA" Never had this happen before. The NP came in and directly engaged me in conversation about my dog. She wanted proof of certification that she was "A SERVICE ANIMAL" I advised her she was violating ADA laws, that she could ask two questions. My husband advised she is a " Certified SERVICE ANIMAL" she detects changes in the smell in my breath. I gave her the certification. At this point she took care(badly) of my husband. Prescribing drugs to him that she admitted is normally only prescribed by a psychiatrist. She want him to see another doctor 3 months down the road. She told him she was going to draw blood and refer him to another doctor. She left the room. I got up and left. She is supposed to be trained in the laws that surround disability, and clearly is not. George stated that a woman came into take blood and started sneezing. She stated that she was allergic to dogs. But her bosses were not aware that was the case. I am sure that everybody in that office was aware that there was an animal in the clinic. Why didn't this staff member advise her bosses that she was allergic? When I called to cancel any additional care for George with this group, I was accused of not telling the truth, that the one time that I had her in the office before, I must have hid or concealed her. This group does not follow up on treatment plans, they are rude and aggressive. Final question: Where is the physician that should be overseeing treatment plans and patient care? Seems to be MIA. This clinic is a waste of time. read more

Love this individually owned practice. I suggest to others who think the woman that owns this practice to dig a little deeper before thinking she has an on line education. How wrong they are!! I tagged along with my husband as he had to do some tests. Everything was fine until they became crowded. We had been waiting for about an hour for him to be called in, & as we waited in the lobby more people came in & mind you they only have 5 chairs in the lobby. As all were taken, one of the girls i did not catch her name, young with glasses working in the front asks me if I was here for any services. I responded I was not, I was just here with my husband. Me being 36 weeks pregnant I was asked to get out of my chair and give it to someone else and to leave. As I was not going to be seen and they needed the chair for their actual customers. i stood up looking at my husband in shock i was being kicked out. My husband then offered me his chair as he was going to be seen, and had no issue standing. I then asked if It was fine to sit in his chair & i was in shock as she was about to respond with a "friendly" no, but my husband interrupted her & told me to stay as he stood and I sat down. It shouldn't of been a problem at this point bc his chair would've been taken by him regardless if he didn't offer me it. I did not understand why the sudden disrespect. I dont believe this was an appropriate thing to do, just because the business did not have enough chairs meant they had to kick others out. As well as I been the only one they asked. & to top it off being pregnant. read more

My main issue with Ferguson Family Practice is the "highway robbery" charge of $10.00 to print a paper out for you and also having to wait a hour to pee in a cup. read more

First of all, the wait time is very short, even after you get moved into an exam room. Last time I saw Ashley, I had two major issues. She listens well and really understood what was going on. This place is just terrible. Horrible. I would only recommend it if you needed a place that will disappoint you. Especially if you call to schedule an appointment, was placed on hold so the secretary can speak to the practioner to confirm for a specific service, them agree to it, have the student come in vs they practioner, the equipment roll in on stackable plastic totes, did not have an important check performed; which the student asked if I wanted them to check it (which I agreed to),,, to then have them tell you that they will not provide the service you called to confirm in the first place. Also I could hear every word spoken from every patient, nurse, secretary and Dr while in my examination room. Absolutely NO privacy. Don't go here,, ever. read more

I've had a very good experience with Ashley Ferguson and her staff. Friendly and knowledgeable.

I am not a patient here. I was a family practice Nurse Practitioner student here. So this is a behind-the-scenes type review. Ashley is a superb NP. She really knows her stuff with the medical aspect of health care. That is great, lots of people are smart, but not everyone has the experience and knowledge to back it up. The thing that differentiates Ashley and her staff is that they genuinely care for the person, not just the patient. She and her staff go above and beyond to extend healthcare. It's difficult to navigate the hoops that insurers make patients jump through, it's really helpful to have an office that will go the extra mile to help you understand what you need to do to get covered. They won't order unnecessary labs or testing. Ashley will go out of her way to get medications authorized or order formulary and the office knocks itself out to find referrals for patients. I have had providers order expensive medicine that my insurance doesn't cover, so I appreciate that she is aware of the costs of medications. She knows the $4 medication list backwards and forwards. She is the best mentor and really sets an excellent example for me to try to follow in the future. read more

I thought I would give this business a chance since it is a family owned business and I am all for supporting them but I must say that was a mistake. This place is completely unprofessional. They have not answered my phone calls on two separate occasions and I actually had to drive over there to see if they were open and ask if they had any openings. The receptionist is in serious need of assistance. She is answering the phone, faxing paperwork, signing patients in and shuffling papers all while listening to the phone ring like crazy because she is unable to answer it. Also, I noticed they do not have a paper lining on the beds in the rooms. How disgusting to have people do tests, some that require getting undressed, and there is no protection from the previous patient. You know, I went to see the doctor here on an occasion regarding being exposed to mold and she gave me a steroid injection to help. She said I would be better in 24 hours.Turns out I got worse, went to the emergency room and actually had pnemonia in mu lungs and needed antibiotics as well. This place has lost me as a patient. I have switched to another doctor's office who is capable of handling the business flow, has a sterile environment and whom actually takes the time to find what the real issue is before treating. Terrible, just terrible. Save the trouble and find somewhere else to go. read more
