I followed in the footsteps of my friend Joy & joined a program at Discover Medical Center in…read moreSpring Grove for Regenerative Knee therapy about 5 weeks ago. I've had one knee replacement & was bone on bone in the other knee & my leg was so badly deformed from a collapsed knee, I was in constant pain. I couldn't put weight on that leg & could hardly walk. My knee would buckle on me constantly. I felt like I was facing a future in a wheelchair. The program consisted of 3 platelet rich plasma knee injections, using your own blood & an umbilical cord stem cell injection to help regrow your knee cartiledge. They used a heel wedge in my shoe to shift the bones & straighten my leg. Well a little over a month out, I have to say I am super impressed with the results so far & it could still take up to a year for the cartiledge to completely regenerate. My leg is significantly straighter & I have so much less pain. Almost pain free at times. So much better than my surgically fixed knee that still hurts. I'm walking faster, able to start putting weight on it climbing stairs & able to work out with ankle weights on. Something I haven't been able to do in years! In just over a month!!! (It took me almost a year to recover from my knee replacement.) So Thank you Michelle Dace & everyone at Discover Medical!!! I have had really miraculous results! It gets better every day.

I found Dr. Crystal here on Yelp. She was close to my residence and the reviews on here and her…read morewebsite made me give the office a call. Now keep in mind we are still dealing with COVID-19 so many medical offices are working on tight restrictions for new patience. Here is the bottom line. I hurt my back moving heavy objects and being a fool while doing it. Dr. Crystal was able to fit me in during what I believe would have been her lunch hour to help relieve my pain. Not only has she alleviated my pain, she has taught me how to properly stretch, and prepare when doing things I don't normally do such as moving a dresser upstairs. She treats the body as a whole, not just the problem area. This creates a whole body healing allowing all aspects of the body to work together to prevent injury or aggravation. I highly recommend Dr. Crystal In addition I believe the receptionist is Megan, I hope I spelled that correct and have the correct name. She is extremely helpful and diligent when it comes to insurance and telling you what and if anything you will owe for services. If you need a chiropractor, or just want to feel better overall by having your body aligned and learning how to prevent injury Dr. Crystal is certainly the doctor to see.

How to describe what Kathy Georgen (owner-proprietress) does? I would classify this as "alternative…read moremedicine". If you are familiar with Reiki Energy Healing, then you have a good start on what Kathy does. (Kathy did start off with Reiki, but then moved into this method, which is based off native Hawaiian beliefs.) Kathy works with making sure your energy flows through all your chakras, removing blocks. This is probably similar to many other energy type healings. When you have an energy block in one chakra, it throws you "off balance". My personal experience with her energy healing was when I had strained my left hamstring due to some over-eager yoga practice. My leg had been off for months and I just couldn't get the pain to go away. It wasn't intense, but it was definitely an on-going discomfort, and prevented me from doing some yoga poses. In one session, Kathy focused on my leg and the pain went completely away and hasn't been back since. (It's been at least a year, more like two.) If you're sensitive to this type of energy healing, you do feel warmth or a slight buzz in the area being worked on. (At least I did.) Kathy also holds workshops and does teacher-training, as well as engaging in other metaphysical activities. Her main area of focus is the energy healing work, however. All in all, it's well worth taking a look at, especially if you feel like you've exhausted "traditional" western based medicine. And while this is "alternative" therapy, I would by no means consider Kathy a stereotypical "granola" type, which is what people are sometimes afraid of with this type of thing.
