Chris was very responsive, he responded quickly after I sent a website inquiry, came for an initial consultation within just a couple days, and had a full estimate to me not long after. I received sketches and renderings of his proposed landscape plan, and he seemed to understand exactly what we wanted. He had great ideas but also was a good listener and took our ideas into account as well. He installed the landscaping over the course of spring 2020. He checked in several times in person to see how it was doing over the summer, and was always there to answer a call or email with any questions we had. A year later, all of the plants have come in beautifully, we did not lose even one over the winter. He did a meticulous spring cleanup, and we are so excited for year 2 of our landscaping looking better than ever!

Am not sure she heard much of what I said. She did give me a diagram of what they were proposing, which I approved, but it is my fault that I wasn't more savvy about plants. Some of what they planted wasn't what I had asked for (ex. No yellow flowers, but more blue), and much of what they planted seemed sub-standard to me. Several of the plants / bushes were already dying; some were not standard varieties (ex crocuses rhat were very very tiny); not many of the plants I said I liked. They did come back and replanted the dying plants and promised to come in the fall to plant replacement bulbs. I have decided to ask them not to come even though I have already paid for them. I feel disappointed when I look at my garden.

Rob is easy going, while giving me great suggestions, and his work is beautiful! It's artwork! He also took care of everything from helping me size down a little ramp to cleaning up everything before he left. He went beyond expectations. After being in our newly built home for 2 years, all we could envision was having a beautiful and…read morefunctional space in the backyard - that vision started with wanting a patio. We started looking for stone installers for our project who could accommodate a phased approach, which meant that the company we chose needed to connect with us, kind of like a friend, because our project wouldn't end with the patio and we'd be continuing the relationship into the future as we are able to roll out each phase of our vision. When we met with Rob at Stone Solutions Maine it quickly became apparent that this was our guy. In customer service, it is always the little things that make a big impact, from something as simple as receiving a pleasant "enjoy a wonderful day" at the end of a text communication - you truly feel appreciated as a customer, just as much as you would appreciate someone who is working to fulfill your vision. Everyone at Stone Solutions Maine is friendly, engaging and hardworking, we honestly couldn't have asked for a greater partner in this endeavor. That's just the people, the knowledge and the quality of work are just as exceptional and appreciated. The dedication to precision is obvious - and what's more, you know Stone Solutions Maine enjoys the work and strives to show that in the finished product. To be fair, we did attempt to obtain additional quotes and the experience in just speaking with some other companies was not for us. Stone Solutions Maine provided a reasonable time line for the project completion and finished sooner than we anticipated. From speaking with others about associated costs of installing a patio and in doing my own cost analysis to potentially install it myself, the project cost was more than fair in our opinion. As a new homeowner, working with Stone Solutions Maine has by far been the highlight of our "to do list" experience. We are now able to enjoy a greater connection to our outdoor space with our beautiful stone patio and we look forward to the rest of our vision coming to life with their help!!

We planned a complete overhaul of our backyard and she was there at every stage. First, she helped us understand what plants we had. She spent an hour with us teaching us about them and how to prune them and take care of them. When it came time to start our major project, she came to our house multiple times to talk about how plants would be laid out, and she met with our patio contractor in person to coordinate their efforts. Eventually, Jennifer and her crew came to plant a bunch of items, add mulch, and generally spruce things up. She had great advice at every step. The cost for her services was extremely reasonable. She provided invoices by email and was very communicative. There were also multiple instances when she suggested how we might accomplish some tasks ourselves so that we didn't have to pay her for them. She's also just a nice person, including when she brought our newborn son a birthday card. The fact that this is a woman-owned business and she has an all-woman landscaping crew is just the icing on the cake. We will look forward to calling on her again in the future. This business, and Jennifer in particular, is a total gem in the world of home and outdoor service providers.
