Tammi and Bryan Thompson EPIC CON ARTIST!…read more If I could have put zero stars I would. Google Tammi and Bryan Thompson. They have switched dog businesses many times and now have a NONPROFIT for Veterans called Shaw's Veterans Ranch or H.M. Shaw's Transition Facility. I am writing the review here because 1)Their nonprofit is not listed on yelp 2)Their Dog business now named ;Igy6 (Whoodle.world) is connected to the nonprofit & 3) I put a review on their Facebook which they immediately disabled to ensure it wouldn't be seen. I am a retired, disabled veteran and have many accolades and experience in management and social work. I love working for nonprofits and have always given back. I volunteered at their nonprofit for 8 months full time after quitting a paying job on the pretense that I would be helping Veterans and she (Tammi) would one day put in grants to get the team (and me) paid a salary. Tammi asked me to be the face of the ranch because I was a veteran and loved speaking, she asked me to be her assistant executive director, and on the board of directors. I agreed, because I believed in the mission to help my fellow brothers and sisters. Now during this time, I informed this CEO (Tammi) and her husband Bryan (Secretary and CEO) that it was vital to have the executive leadership conduct training and be on the same page. To have meetings, go over financials etc.... pretty simple stuff right?!? I even paid out of pocket for training, and multiple things because to me it was extremely IMPORTANT. Along the first few months, Tammi mentioned multiple times that she was taking classes to stay in compliance with the 501(c)3 (I have this in texts) as well as paying 501 fees (also in texts). Now I didn't know any better but assumed she was handling the business side... while I networked... raised A LOT of money... promoted the business, did research, gathered sponsors, gathered donations, went and spoke to clients, did case management, coordinated care (list goes on). Later I found out 501(c)3's do not have ongoing fees and/or courses to stay in compliance (just one of the many lies). After a large fundraiser and many times of pushing the CEO (Tammi) for vital business information, and where the money went... I got kickback. I also got slowly pushed out of the office and told to stay home. I also was not told of what was going on with plans. The lying, and red flags kept stacking. Fast forward to today. Why am I writing this? Because I was never shown financials, never included like a BOD should be and when asked about these items... she told me I had no right, it was her nonprofit and not mine. Where did $11k go?! Nothing of importance was accomplished for the mission?! She bought some paint for a wall, food for volunteers, some fruit trees, and a few tools for the greenhouse. But that is not $11k. I never saw anything bought specifically for veterans, or the mission.... only donations & items were bought for their Ranch (where veterans cannot get to) and for her own home because she lives on the Ranch itself. I never saw one dog from her ;Igy6 business go to a veteran (which she states 1 out of each litter will go). Not ONE in 8 months!!! Now she could prove me wrong, show the financials and manage the business properly but instead she threw a fit... and acted shady. Then when I posted the review on her Facebook, same thing. (See pictures) She immediately shuts down the Facebook page. Is this why she has so many dog business pages?!? I don't recommend ever giving these people money... because what I saw in 8 months was that the 11k PLUS AND what they make on dogs ($1,200 to $2,500 per dog) goes to their home, maybe a new RV, random organic food for the dogs/chickens, misters for the dogs & chickens, an awning for the dogs, decorating their yard, 3 dog runs, eating out daily, and who knows what else. Could I be wrong? Absolutely... but there are a lot of holes. Too many to put here. Unless I'm missing something, which I hope I am.... there are some serious disconnects. I would challenge you to ask for their financials before donating a dime to their nonprofit or buying a dog from them!! Challenge them... make them earn it. Because from what I've seen, ANYONE who challenges them... gets blocked, and dropped at a dime. Tooooo shady!

She started with our sweet Daisy (who has since passed from old age), and the gentleness and patience she showed her set the bar impossibly high for any groomer to follow. She's also worked with Romeo -- our grumpy old man -- and somehow manages to get him looking sharp without stressing him out. Chloe, who is even older, has always been treated with the same level of care and respect. And Bella, who we lost last year, adored her spa days with Bree. Those memories mean a lot to us. Even though our dogs are short‑haired, we always choose the full spa treatment because Bree makes them look, feel, and smell incredible every time. She understands each dog's personality, their limits, and what makes them comfortable. Now we've added Great Danes to the mix, and they had their very first nail trim with Bree this past weekend. She handled those giant baby feet like a pro -- calm, confident, and patient. They walked out happy, not stressed, which says everything. I highly recommend The Altered Dog. Bree is skilled, compassionate, and truly gifted with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. She's the kind of groomer you follow wherever she goes because you trust her with your animals like family.

Recently, I went through one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life -- losing my best friend, Finn. It was an incredibly traumatic time, but the team at WAHS was there for me every step of the way. From start to finish, they helped guide me through the process with compassion, dignity, and sincere kindness. They made me feel supported, understood, and truly special during one of the darkest moments in my life. A special thank you to Joshlynn -- her care and dedication to our family went above and beyond. She made sure we felt seen, heard, and cared for in every interaction. She's truly one of a kind, and we're so thankful for her heart. Because of the incredible people at Western Arizona Humane Society, I will always bring my animals to them. I trust them with my life -- and more importantly, with my dogs'. That kind of trust is rare, and they've earned it wholeheartedly. Thank you, WAHS, for everything.

I purchased a Yorkshire Terrier puppy from Puppy Boutique Las Vegas about a month ago. To be fair,…read morewhen we noticed at the store that the puppy was coughing and hacking, they were honest enough to admit that he did have a cough and described it as mild. Calvin was also friendly during the process and helped us get the puppy we wanted, which I appreciated. That being said, when you purchase a new puppy, especially for the amount these dogs cost, you expect the animal to be healthy, properly cared for, and ready for a new home. Unfortunately, after a month, my puppy is still coughing and hacking despite already going through 2 courses of antibiotics and 2 courses of steroids, we have been back and forth in vet clinic. Recently he also started having bowel irritation with mild blood in his stool, which has been stressful and concerning as a new owner. I do appreciate that they have communicated with my girlfriend from time to time regarding updates and concerns, and I also want to give credit to Flamingo Pet Clinic for helping care for him throughout this process. However, one thing that bothered me was that I was the one who paid for the dog in cash, yet most direct responses were not given to me and communication mainly went through my girlfriend instead. At this point, this situation will not be taken lightly. We love this puppy and are doing everything we can to help him recover, but no new owner should have to deal with ongoing medical concerns shortly after bringing home a new puppy. I truly hope he fully recovers, and I will continue updating this review depending on how things progress. If these health issues continue unresolved, I'm considering next steps regarding this situation.
