I'll start with the atmosphere. I've been here one time, and it had a friendly and welcoming environment with polite and patient employees eager to help. Once you order inside, you wait until it's called and go grab your teas. The seating and environment reminds me of Starbucks with the quiet, focused sense of peace. They even have board games and card games to entertain while you spend your time here, so you can see the dedication and thought put into making it an enjoyable customer experience. The decorations are designed to be aesthetically pleasing, perfect for pictures and give a sense of coziness to the place. Now the tea. I'd never been here before, so I listened to my friend'a recommendation of the Rose Oolong Milk Tea with lychee. SO GOOD. I've been to a couple local places around the Keller area, but none have hit as spot on as Feng Cha. The milk tea itself has a rich flavor that's not overwhelmingly sweet; in fact, the sugar in it is very subtle. As a regular tea drinker, I definitely appreciate this. The lychees themselves were also delicious, sweeter than the tea itself and accentuated it perfectly. For the Strawberry Overload, the tea was just strong enough, and the strawberry purée completed the whole thing and brought the flavors together. Now that the chain boba places are finally taking notice of the awesome clientele our little corner of Fort Worth has to offer, we're spoilt for choice. It started with Sharetea, then Gong Cha, then Feng Cha and, most recently, Ding Tea. I still prefer Feng Cha above all of 'em! Their drinks are never overpoweringly sweet, unless you customize it that way. You can taste the tea, through the delicious creaminess. I've gotten the brewed teas, milk teas, tried the mango au lait. All friggin' delicious, mang! I usually do a 75% or 50% sweet. Still good, bro-roh! As a plus, they also have an app that you can order on and earn points while doing it! We citizens of mid-2000's north Fort Worth know the pain of having only the saccharine-sweet BTH drinks within reach. Of having to drive to damn Arlington or Carrollton or Plano or deep in to the belly of D-town, because the good franchise milk tea joints hit there first.
