Over 90% of the picket nails were not set. Most about 1/16" to 1/8" away from the picket. Each panel has a few that are at least 1/2" from being set. My advice would be to inspect before purchasing. I suspect this problem is due to a lack of attention to the nailing machine.

When their poor workmanship was discovered, they tried to extort additional funds ($1000) to fix their error. The issues have not been resolved and they refuse to call me back or respond to my text. The job was completed but needed to be lowered slightly to match the height of others in the Association. Despite a delay caused by the hurricane, Jerry, the owner, saw to it that the adjustment was made to our specifications. Given the relative insignificance of this re-visit in comparison to the volume of fence work a hurricane can produce, H&Y kept their commitment and for that the homeowner and I were thoroughly impressed. It is not often these days that we witness this kind of integrity in business dealings so when we do we must recognize it. At the 7 week mark, I was curious because no one had called me with an update on my order. They said they would call in a couple of weeks once they had my install ready to schedule. Jason did call and schedule for the following week at 9am. There were some set-backs on install day, for I had been scheduled to be 9am and by 10am, no one had shown up or called. Having taken the morning off, I was upset when I ended up having to take the full day off and they didn't even arrive until after 2pm. The crew was very efficient, with Sergio heading the team. They worked for a couple of hours. Glad I was there, to review fence before they finalized or they would have installed the fence sloped to accommodate the yard. Fence should be even, dirt can be added to even the slope of the yard on the side of the house. The posts were corrected and fence install continued. Second day they came back and finished the job. Fence looks great and truly adds value to the house. I think the installation crew is top notch. The office staff really needs to improve on their communication skills with their customers. It's like they don't care about the customer but boy did they call right away to get paid. No one ever apologized for making me wait all day when I had been scheduled for a 9am install.

Writing this because I have just received 4 emails in a week asking me for a review so... ok…read more I had used J2W in 2020 and they did a better-than-expected job. I found out later that they had ruptured 3 of my in-ground sprinklers and not said anything, and had to come back and do some gate repairs but other than that, they were fine. After Hurricane Ian we needed our fences put up. I had put up over 1600 linear feet of chain link by myself to replace the vinyl since we didn't need that much vinyl. I contacted J2W and let them know I had ordered 300ft of vinyl fencing for the front yard portion to have privacy from the road. The company delivering it wouldn't unload it at my house because it would take me (combat vet, no legs, cancer) more than 10 minutes with my tractor to remove it. When I contacted J2W, she said in an email "no worries, if we are doing the work you can have them drop it at our location, it saves us a trip to Fence Outlet." We agreed on a total price of $2000 for their work on the fence. I had extra panels here from the storm so no need to buy more. I had the old gates (same color, same style, everything). They came over and did the fencing. I had actually ordered new gates as well, so they came with hinges. They told me they had to order some extra materials and I was confused. They said hinges were $400. I explained that the gates COME WITH hinges and they said they hadn't. I later found those hinges thrown in my bushes right next to the house where they started. Cyndi then sent me an invoice for $3200. She then stated that there was a "delivery fee" of $1000 that we had NEVER discussed. She stated that it was all in emails but would not ever show me the email where it mentioned this mystery DELIVERY FEE of $1000. Then she accused me of having "chemo brain" and not remembering. But said she would look into it when they got back from Costa Rica. I guess she expected to gaslight me into paying for an extra week of vacation for her family. In the end, I paid the money so they would come and finish the work because they hadn't put the gates up and we have 3 dogs that don't need to escape. Then she brought up the parts and she said they needed to buy panels and hinges. I explained there were 30 EXTRA panels with top and bottom runners left from the storm that they were supposed to use to fill any gaps. When I spoke to the father at my house, he said his son (or son in law, I don't recall) had jumped the gun and purchased the stuff at Fence Outlet instead of seeing we had it all there. I also told her that the hinges came with the gates. She then tried sending me another bill for another $200 saying it was for the labor of putting the gates up. I refused to pay another dime. To this day the fence has drooped and needed constant repair. They were asked to BURY the 2 posts by the house and NOT screw them into my house - I told them multiple times a small 6" gap was fine because the dogs wouldn't fit through them. Instead they were screwed into the side of the house, not even touching the ground. The gates have NEVER closed right. The ones on the driveway drag and don't lock. The ones on the other side of the house don't lock and do not even align right because the posts are not in straight. My mother in law went with Muscle Fence. Next time I will too. They have lost a once-happy and devoted customer. The sad thing is, there's numerous reviews I have found after the fact saying the same thing, specifically about the mystery delivery fees. Seems like they have fallen off quite a bit since 2021/2022. Such a shame.

But he was on the lower end of the pricing. I also requested a "special add-on" of 4x4 weather-treated wooden posts to be installed inside of the fence line-posts and corner-posts and 50# of cement in every hole, (on 6-ft spacing). This was an upcharge, but I was willing to pay the extra to gain the wind strength and long-term keeping the fence as straight as possible. Their team showed up on day 1 with only 2 men. They didn't get very far along until a 2nd team of (2) men arrived. The got about 1/2 of the install finished on day 1. On day 2, they arrived early with (3) men and got busy right away. They finished the project at about 2PM. I have NO COMPLAINTS. They honored their bid and did not charge extra for having to take 2 days to complete the work. They cleaned up their mess both days. The fence and gates are solid and straight. The gates work well and do not sag. Overall I give them 4.5 stars. I deducted 0.5 star for having to take 2 days to complete the work after being told it was a 1 day job. Overall, I am quite happy with the end product and the installation team.
